On 4/12/2024 I called to place a catering order to pick up on 4/15/2024. It was a fairly large order so I wanted to make sure they had enough time to make it all. I told them I would be arriving at 6:45am on 4/15/2024 to get my order. Once I arrived on that Monday and told the cashier I had a catering order everyone said they didn't have a catering order. After a minute or so of running around they did find my catering order on the bulletin board that you can see clear as day. They apologized and said Kayla didn't tell anyone about my order. Once Kayla walked in and was told all she had to say was "oh". The only reason I am giving a second star is for the lady up front (I wish I would have gotten her name). She immediately apologized and started working on my order without any help, the other employees were just aimlessly walking around doing nothing (including Kayla who forgot to mention my catering order to anyone). I would have no issue with them forgetting my order if they would have tried to help her or offer any apology. They made it seem like I was the inconvenience to them for them forgetting my order. The lady who helped me deserves a raise, promotion and all the nice things in life. I know it was early in the morning and the other employees could just be tired, but so was I. I was in charge of catering for an office party which I was made late to because they failed to...
Read moreI woke up wanting a Biscuitville breakfast because they have the best biscuits you can get at a "quick-service restaurant." There is something about their biscuits that sets them apart from all the others; you'll know what I'm talking about when you open your biscuit's wrapper and you get a waft of that biscuit steam! The dining room, and what you can see into the kitchen behind the counter is always really clean and maintained, as are the bathrooms, but I used the drive-thru at this visit. There was no wait to order or get my food, the staff and manager were upbeat, friendly and helpful! It's always hard to choose what to order because everything here is always so southern, comfort yum, whether it's breakfast or lunch, or breakfast for lunch that you want! I almost always get a BLT with egg and mayo on a biscuit, with a hashbrown or cheese grits. At my last visit; I also got a strawberry muffin to eat later and it was so moist and tasty! They have coffee, tea, juice and milk, but their Pepsi product fountain sodas are great here (the syrup/soda ratio is perfect)! I'm pretty picky about my diet Pepsi and won't drink a watered down fountain drink, but I never have...
Read moreThese restaurants are mainly located in NC, but there are a few elsewhere, and so I took an opportunity to dine there during a recent trip and detoured over to Mt. Airy, NC. Upon entering the business I was immediately reminded of a similar style of restaurant, Tudors Biscuit World that are mainly found in WV, the main difference is that Biscuitville doesn't serve lunch/dinner items, only breakfast. When you walk in you are able to see the staff making fresh biscuits up at the main counter. Speaking of staff, we were greeted immediately after waking in by the friendliest ladies that gave you a similar feeling as if you'd just walked into your mother's, or grandmother's, kitchen. Our orders were prepared fresh and in a timely manner. I ordered the Biscuit & Sausage Gravy, Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit, and Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. All were tasty and combined made a filling lunch. The main reason that my rating is only four (4) stars is simply the size of the biscuits vs price. For a business to call itself Biscuitville, I'd expect it to serve biscuits that stood out amongst the competition, not blend...
