April (says she is the store manager) was just the pits! She refused to return/refund a dangerous and recalled set of pajamas by Cat and Jack (article screenshot attached). She also refused to let me speak to another manager saying she is the end all say all at that store and that the others report to her.
Her solution: She request that I have my sister in Miami mail the hazardous, extremely flammable item back to Tennessee (at our expense of course) so that she can have further proof of purchase. Please stop!! The logic behind her request was ridiculous! I gave her several options to do the right thing and to think her solutions through further to which she refused. She insisted keeping kids in danger and mailing dangerous and hazardous items through the United States Mail (likely breaking the law would need to confirm) so that she can see it and feel it prior to refunding our money….right!
Her much better behaved employees that I discussed the issue with last night suggested that I simply have my sister from Florida take a photo of the tags with the Target identifier # and then dispose of them as Target Corporate and Cat and Jack suggest due to the extremely hazardous flammable item. They were a Christmas gift for our niece.
Upon leaving target I called their corporate office as I told April I had planned to do. Corporate disagreed with April from the jump and apologized for her behavior and lack of caring/understanding how recalls work. They insisted that they would escalate further so that this will not happen to another customer in the future in Mount Juliet. They immediately refunded me our money and confirmed to immediately dispose of product and not attempt to return it to the store or place into the mail etc. They also went a step further and issued a $20 gift card as an apology for the inconvenience one entitled employee caused.
Kudos for April's employees! Be more like yourselves and...
Read moreRegarding the release date of Valentine’s Stanely cup. My daughter and I went to target and was the 1st in line at 5am. I had my 18 year old daughter wait in the car Due to her surgery on her left wrist and a metal plate which makes it difficult and painful to tolerate in the cold. That morning was 24 degree weather. Store opened at 8am Chris the store manager came to work at 7am. I had ask him about the quanity of the cups and the limit. He stated 1 per person 2 per household. He later came back out around 715 am and stated he would come back outside closer to 8am to pass out cards to everyone. At that time i texted my daughter to come stand with me before he passes out the cards. She got off the car and stood with me waiting. He then came back out around 745 passed out cards and completely diregarded her standing there. i asked him why he skipped her and he stated because he didn’t see her when he came outside the 1st time at 715am. I explained she was in the car because she just had surgery and showed him the sx site on her hand. Which i shouldn’t have had to show him. Needless to say he didn’t end up selling a cup to her. i told Chris that what he was doing was not right . What did it matter? i was entitled to 2 cups per household . I felt as i was being discriminated against as i am hispanic.he also did it to another hispanic couple in line behind us. But then again they always make me feel that way when i shop at this store because the security guard there always stops me to check my receipts. This is a continuous thing! I will not be doing anymore shopping at this store. It really broke my heart for my daughter that she didn’t get her cup. i would hate to be handicap myself and not be given the opportunity as anyone else because of my...
Read moreThe store itself is always out of products and overall disappointing to visit in hopes of finding what you’re looking for. And lord forbid you need a clothing item in your correct size, FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!
The staff consists of teenagers that don’t appreciate the mere fact of having a job in todays society is a privilege! If you don’t like the customer interaction part of being a customer service representative or associate then you should find another job!!!!
My encounter with the teenage, Latin American mixed decent associate was far from pleasant and I pray NO ONE ever encounters the type of behavior I experienced.
Although I frequent this particular Target often as I live, work, and shop in the Providence area. I will not let this particular young lady deter me from visiting a store my wife and I love to visit.
I just hope that whomever reads this review, from corporate or the store level has a meeting with the staff to make sure that future employment is handled with the standard customers being treated with respect and not met with disrespectful comments. Again, we all have bad days/moments but NO ONE should take their frustration with their job or coworkers out on customers who are only there to spend their hard earned money with a company that pays your salary.
If you visit please use the self checkout kiosks. At least this way your shopping experience won’t be ruined by unpleasant associates with disrespectful comments because they don’t...
