Buyer beware! We used champs for puppy training and were incredibly disappointed in the lack of results. We diligently did the online course work and when our puppy did not respond accordingly they told us we needed CBD treats. Then it was doggy day care, an ecollar and finally they wanted us to invest thousands of dollars more in their board and train program. They have a very specific training regimen and if your dog does not respond to their algorithm their only recommendation to you is to continue to invest more money in further training that was already unsuccessful. Unfortunately, after completing the training we found at least 3 other neighbors who were also champs failures. Moved here last year from central Jersey and needed to find a groomer who could replicate a quality haircut for my two Labradoodles. I tried so many groomers up north that struggled with consistency and achieving the very simple cut I wanted. I’m happy to say that Champs in Mount Laurel has delivered each and every time I’ve brought my doodles, providing a consistent haircut to both boys exactly how I ask. Their prices seem to be fair according to the current market as far as I can tell, and the customer service continues to be great. Horrible communication about fees. If there was a mobile grooming fee, that should have been communicated when I first showed interest and made an appointment over the phone as well as when the lady did the grooming and I told her to charge the card on file, there should have been communication on what the price was. I take accountability for not asking after my dog was groomed, but I was told when I set the appointment what the price would be, which differed from the amount of money that came out of my account.
