So I was in Ollie’s today and was sitting in one f their patio chairs to see if I wanted to purchase it. Mind you I’m disabled and overweight so I need to make sure I am comfortable in a seat before purchasing it. This cashier yells at me that I’m not allowed to sit in the chair so I said well how can I tell if I want to purchase it he yells across the store well you may break it and then what so I said I would purchase it. Then he said yeah right like you’re going to buy it. Well first off I was discriminated against because of my weight and other disability and then I was insulted by him saying like ur gonna buy it! I then yelled back that I want to speak to a manager well he yelled back go and find him yourself. At that point my fiancée got involved and said we want a manager now and yelled that at which point we asked for the manager again and were told by the cashier to leave or he was going to call the police so we said good call them. Well they wouldn’t so we left our merchandise and left the store when I asked the cashier his name he was very obnoxious and said Jami. eeeeee. They are discriminatory against those of us with disabilities and weight issues. Please help me by reaching out to corporate and let them know this behavior is not tolerated and help me spread the word to not shop at this Ollie’s until this cashier...

Came in today with my toddler. Asked the cashier if she could price check some Valentine’s Day candy for me, she did. I thanked her, turned and left the line. The customer behind me asked if I was leaving the line, I said yes, I only wanted a price check on the candy as I was still looking around. The customer made a face and laughed at me and then turned to the cashier and she started laughing at me as well. I’m not sure what was funny. I worked as a cashier for years, so I’m always going out of my way to be a kind customer, and was very kind and thanked her, I told her I wanted a price check upfront that I wasn’t checking out yet. Seeing the cashier laugh at me was uncalled for so I left without purchasing anything. I called and requested to speak to a manager and the person who answered the phone said she was the manager and sounded like my cashier. She then hung up on me. I have shopped there many times. Never had an issue. I normally checkout with the other cashier who is so very kind, an older lady with a bubbly personality who talks about her family with me. I adore her. This lady though was rude and had zero customer service skills, and turns out she’s the manager? And hung up on me....
