I hope this review reaches the owner. I used to love this boutique. My husband and children were in the store yesterday while I was in town for the GLS. My husband being the guy that he is, knows I love Alex and Ani and my kids pick them out all the time. They had picked out a few from the case and patiently waited for the lady to come open the case to get them out to buy. Mind you what he was ready to purchase was about $200. There were 2 ladies in the store, 1 older and 1 younger. Neither acknowledged him and acted as if inventorying their few pairs of shoes was more important. The older lady looked dead at him waiting and went back to the shoes. Never once acknowledging that he was asking for help. He put back what he had and walked out with nothing. I visit this store every time I go on holidays in Myrtle Beach. It was my favorite store up until last week. I couldn’t wait to pick out a Puppie Love T-shirt as a souvenir for my daughter. The sales associate on the floor was super helpful and ask if I needed help so I asked her if they were gonna get any new t-shirts in stock soon. I was so excited to learn they just got new ones in that same day and they were hidden behind the desk and proceeded to show me the new shirts up until the other sales associate behind cash register said there are no price tags on them and then I was told to come back another day. I am sure the price is the same as what is marked on the other shirts so I left disappointed. I felt my money wasn’t good enough at their store so I decided to spend my money at another store. Terrible Customer Service!!! I have never wrote a bad review just because I used 2 work retail and I understand that people can have a bad day. But I have never been followed around a store. The older blonde lady acted as if I was a common criminal by simply looking through the clothing racks. Giving me and my family death stares. Never once saying hello or asking us if we needed help. I tried on clothes and the moment I walked out not even taking a few steps. The same women ran across the store to inspect the fitting room. At that point I was done, was not going to support a business that treats their customers so poorly. Reading other comments it disgust me how she still continues acting this way with nothing being done. Even more disgusting how concerns of racism have arisen and nothing has been done....
