I took my iPhone 12 Pro Max to get a new battery. They replaced the battery but in doing so, damaged my screen. It took a couple times to get the phone back to them to get the screen replaced (screen wasn't in, guy who could do it wasn't in) and when I got it back I noticed everything was pink! I googled it and the reports I read said it was because a non apple product was used. I spoke to Richard the manager just now. He told me that wasn't true, Apple just says that to scare people. Then he said I could bring my phone in, they would replace the new screen with the damaged screen and I could take it to apple and get myself a new screen. I asked if they would pay for that and he said no! He then went on to tell me my husband signed their waiver saying the phone was working perfectly. Well, the problem with that is that my husband is color blind. I said I didn't feel I should have to pay to replace the screen they damaged. Then there was about three minutes of silence. I asked if he was still there. Yes. I said, "Oh, you didn't respond to my comment." He was very snotty and said he didn't have to respond, there was no question. Wow! They damage my phone and yet somehow I'm the bad guy?? Buyer beware. They will not get any of my business ever again. Not how you treat people and certainly not how you resolve problems.
Additional note: We also reached out to Batteries Plus corporate. Their reply, as well as the reply here, was basically too bad, so sad. How about stepping up and making it right? You guys caused the problem and now you step away without fixing your mistake?? Very unprofessional...
Read moreUpdate. Went in to buy batteries for my stroke victim wife today for her scooter. I was willing to over look my prior issue of not receiving a replacement set of batteries after 2 months when they failed to keep a charge. Get this; went to buy another replacement and I am on a don't sell list because of the one star review. THE OWNER is vindictive even though he is wrong.
do purchase alot of batteries at this location. Case and point, I spent $1,200 on golf cart batteries plus money for my wife's handicapped scooter. I bought 110 dollars of my wife' scooter in May. According to there policy batteries have a year warranty. That is only if you can prove it. Well I bought 2 new batteries today that should have been under warranty. I have gone in a couple times to tell them the batteries don't hold a charge. My wife is paralyzed on her right side. So I am not going to risk her being stuck, like she has been multiple times the last couple months. She is flying by herself to Seattle to see grandbabies. They don't believe you at your word. They say they don't have a load tester for small batteries. That's ben 2 months I have asked them. They say they had one but they don't know. So I am being punished for protecting my wife.
Bad way to treat someone who has purchased many batteries over your existing time in Nampa.
My wife has been stranded multiple times and they claim it's fully charge. The question is, does it hold a charge, NO!
I was told today that the batteries are massed produced and this happens. Is this my fault? They want to blame my wife's charger. It...
Read moreMy husband and I are private business owners and just built a million dollar dental building two years ago, and we drive the 36 miles to Nampa, because we need batteries for our dental and computer equipment from your store. I am very particular when it comes to getting efficient and knowledgable help to fit our needs. I don't give away compliments easily and am not a survey taker, but it is my privilege to give your employee, Erik Overly at your Nampa store, a 20 star rating! In three very specific ways, he saved our bacon and saved us money, by fixing our battery pack that runs our mail computer. I was so fortunate that he was the one that answered the phone when I called, I was able to send a picture of the device that I knew nothing about, and that afternoon when I ran it up to the store, he tested the battery, and found out it had a good charge, and then tested the new battery that I ended up purchasing from the store. He showed me what to do to replace it the next time, I actually shopped around and found a cool head light to buy and am going to be taking my key fabs up to get batteries replaced, etc. He was also the person that rung me up, and updated my phone number in the system. I couldn't believe how Amazingly detailed and keyed in (no pun intended) to accuracy and making sure all of our bases were covered with my purchase. Erik is most definitely an assess to your business, and I feel like we are in good hands when it comes to all of these battery devices we use to run the 7 computers...
