Came in on a Sunday afternoon, place was kinda busy. Had to wait in line to place an order, received a buzzer at the end of the order. One thing I want to mention is that on their menu above the counter, they have a giant picture of a char burger that shows cheese, but they actually charge EXTRA for cheese, pretty lame IMO. The wait time wasn't too bad, maybe 10-14 minutes overall. Definitely not as fast as McDonalds or Burger King, but this food is worth it and you can clearly taste the difference.
While waiting on the food, I sat down at one of the booths and noticed right off top how much better the interior design of this place is compared to the location in Meridian. I haven't been at the Meridian location in a couple of months, but from what I remember, it wasn't nearly as bright and modern as this one. The Nampa location has A LOT of natural light, VERY high ceilings, HUGE windows, and a very modern overall design, something I really liked. There is a small section once you enter the place with bar-height tables and chairs. I usually prefer the higher bar seating, but at this place I'd recommend sitting in one of the booths in the back, there is so much natural light back there it's really great. The overall floor plan is very good here. This location is such a step up in terms of atmosphere over the Meridian one in my eyes.
The food here was exactly how I remembered it to be in Meridian, didn't taste any better or worse. Even though the price of the food is a little higher than regular fast food places, it really is worth it IMO. I got the double char meal with cheese, came out to around $10, and I do feel that's somewhat fair. Their drink selection was great, they had some fresh limeaid type drinks ( I had the Blueberry, Citrus & Mint one, very tasty).
One negative that can be improved on is overall tidiness of the place. When I came in, there were only a couple of open tables, but it seemed like all of them were somewhat dirty (crumbs, napkins, straw wrappers, etc). Bathrooms weren't bad, but the trash can was overflowing with paper towels. Floors in the dining area had straw wrappers and little pieces of food in some places.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. I was leaning more towards giving this place a 4, but the interior design and atmosphere pushed it to a 5. IMO, this location here in Nampa is way better than the location in Meridian. Just be aware there IS a wait time before you get your food, and the prices ARE higher than what you'd expect from other fast food burger places. All in all, I'd highly recommend this place,...
Read moreWent because recommended. Not worth it. Drive through service was very slow. We were in the Drive-Thru roughly 20 minutes with 4 cars in front of us.
Burger combos were expensive to start with and did not include cheese, that was extra.
Fries were basic center cut (no skin). I could tell that you have been cooked short, pulled early, and then sat on the heat lamps for far too long. They basically had no salt.
Burger was average. Meat did not taste seasoned. The only flavor came from the BBQ sauce on my burger. Bacon was... there. Even the paper wrap on the sandwich was lazily put on, and not marked in any way so had to take the burgers out of the bag unwrap them, and then disassemble them to figure out which one was which.
Drink selection for soda lacking. Coke, diet, low rent dr pepper called mr pibb, sprite, and root beer.
The greatest coup de gras however was the drive-through attendant not wearing a belt drop something on the ground bent over to pick it up and butt crack right in my face. Come on, are you kidding me.
Don't even bother with this joke of a place. He'd be better off going to Red Robin or an established burger joint and...
Read moreThis has happened twice, I have to use their kiosk to order because there is no one taking orders. Then, while I'm trying to figure out where everything is and order it and people are coming in and forming a line, a worker appears at the counter and quickly takes the order from the person behind me! So now she is helping others before me because I was forced to use their kiosk! Also, two items that my husband and I ordered didn't have tomatoes listed when customizing our items, yet tomato was in the picture of the item on the kiosk. We were confused, but it wasn't an option to customize. Both of our items had tomatoes! Come on, update your information so at least it's accurate! My husband also spent $4 on 8 onion rings and was given 1 tiny ranch cup. He went up and asked for another ranch for the onion rings and was told she would have to charge him 60 cents! Really? At 50 cents per onion ring, and you want me to get my card back out for you to charge me 60 cents? The food was prompt, hot, and good, which is why we came back. But between the kiosk thing twice and now wanting to nickel and dime us, we probably will go to In-n-Out or Sonic next...
