Shift leader was very rude during a return. I did not have my receipt, but the tags were still on the item, as well as the manufacturer tags (which were in a place I couldn't have tampered with). She acted like my tags were fake. They had been checked by the TJ Maxx up the road but I'd been instructed to go there and they would take them back.
Then she stated that I must have purchased them well over 3 months before because they were no longer in the system and no longer carried them. I had purchased them a week before, but she didn't accept that and told me absolutely no refund. Then I asked to speak to a manager, and she acted very put out and said I would have to wait a while and speak to them in person. When I said that was fine, she sighed, rolled her eyes, paged someone, and answered a phone all in about 30 seconds. I'm not sure what was asked but she explained the situation and said "barely" and "probably" in a very nasty tone.
Then she turned back around and said they'd do it.
The best part though? I walked to the clothes section - she had not put my item back yet as it was still up front - and they were still being offered on the rack. So they obviously WERE in the system.
I always have issues with Marshall's returns, but they're normally not this rude. Save yourself some time and hit the TJX up the way - they're much nicer and have better stuff for...
   Read moreI asked the lady name Dileysia to marked the price lower because the item I wanted was cracked but still usable. While I was waiting at the register. She seemed very irritable to help me, and she told me she can’t sell it now more. So no problem it was a miscommunication. I still wanted the item and she instead put the original price right back on the item that was cracked. At this point, I was extremely upset. As soon as I was about to leave, I caught her on in the mist of lowering down a price for this other lady in literally 10 seconds. While I was right there watching. This could of been easily resolved. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism, inconsiderate, dismissing me, and degrading. Honestly made me never want to come back to this store.    Read moreThe store is clean and well organized, with pretty good merchandise selection. The only thing they could change is to instruct their employees not too be pushy when offering to open the store account. No need to double check if I'm totally sure I don't want to apply now, especially when I pay for my purchase with a gift card and don't even fully spend it. As for asking for a donation for some research, I like what CVS Pharmacy did - they added this option to the payment screen, and you can press YES or NO button......
