I have been with Verizon for about fifteen years now. In the past year, I have definitely had enough positive experiences here that I know that I am definitely a lifelong customer. I only started with Verizon because my parents put me on their plan when I was a teenager, but now that I have the choice for myself, I will be sticking with them. Their customer service is truly awesome! My husband and I both had great experiences with Dan from this store. First, my husband had been with a different service for a year or so and was constantly having issues with it. He uses his phone for both personal use and work use so it was more than just an inconvenience for him. The dropped calls and terrible customer service that he was experiencing of this other phone service was awful to say the least. My husband decided to consider switching his phone over to Verizon since I had was on Verizon and really had never had any issues at all. He first worked with Dan, who helped him easily switch back to Verizon, got everything back up and running, and truly was more helpful than we could have asked for. You sometimes fear the worst having to make a change like that, but he ended up making it simple, and we really appreciated that! Not long after, I started having issues trying to back up my own phone to iCloud. I tried googling how to do it, asking others, etc. Nothing was working for me. I ended up getting helped by Dan again and he not only was able to figure out the issues and back up my phone, but he took the time with me to make sure that I understood how to do it and would be able to do it in the future as well. In today's world, it always feels like something little like that people won't want to deal with or will rush you out, but Dan made me feel welcomed and important as a customer. Read moreI have always had great experiences at this location (State street, New Albany) but today was awful. I came in at 9:08, the front door was locked so they had to come let me in. They then locked the door behind me. I sat down with a representative for a few minutes, he hadn't even asked me anything, instead he was on his phone, speaking to 2 other employees about inventory. He got up twice to scan items on the shelf....and I'm still waiting. I asked if I should come back another time and he said no, and then we switched computers. He continued to speak to the employees and I asked if again if this is a good time because they seem busy (no other customers, just not attentive) and he said "we are just working on this inventory and have to get it done". I replied, I'm the customer and need help with a phone. He didn't seem to care at all, so I got up and told him I'd go to another location. I don't know what could have been more important than a loyal customer shopping for a new phone, especially when there were 2 other employees in the store. He acted like I was inconveniencing him. Like I said, I got up to leave and had to wait for them to meet me at the door to unlock it. Doesn't seem to safe for me to be locked in there. Read moreI upgraded my (got a new phone) phone, and I had started having problems receiving pictures with text messages. I was able to receive pictures and text messages from some phones and not others. I tried checking my settings and tried checking the settings of the other phones. We could not see anything that could cause any issues that might cause this problem. I didn't want to make any changes to my phone or other phones, so I went to the Verizon store on State Street, New Albany, Indiana, to it looked at. Customer Service Representative Sara, I believe that's was her name, aided me in with my issue. She was very professional, easy to work with, and knowledge about how to correct my problem. The problem wasn't with any of our phones. The problem was in the Verizon settings. Thanks for her assistance.
Again, today, 2-4-2023, I was having problems with my phone. I was unable to open my text message app. I went to Verizon Store on State Street, New Albany, Indiana, again to have my phone looked at. I was assisted by Customer Service Representative Adam. I showed him my issue, and he was able to help in just a couple of minutes. He was very helpful and was able to help with the problem and took the time to show me how to resolve the problem should it arise in the future. I appreciate all the assistance I've received...
