I am absolutely livid with the Panera Bread in Clarksville, Indiana. Weâve been loyal customers for yearsâdrive-thru, delivery, even occasionally dining inâand this place has been a disappointment over and over. Their customer service has been awful, but we kept giving them another chance. Big mistake.
My daughter wasnât feeling well and wanted something simpleâsmoothie, bread, and soup. We ordered through DoorDash so she didnât have to leave the house while running a fever after working in the heat all day. This is now the THIRD TIME this Panera has gotten an order wrong for my family. They sent the wrong soup (clearly from another order) and when we tried to call to fix itâno one answers. Their voicemail even has the audacity to push the blame on DoorDash, which is ridiculous. DoorDash doesnât open the sealed bagâthey just deliver it. The driver was great. DoorDash immediately credited us and handled the situation, while Panera ignored us completely.
Paneraâs problem is simple: they donât care. They donât answer phones, they donât provide support, and they donât own up to their mistakes. And the kicker? Theyâre out of bread. Panera. Out of bread. You cannot make this up.
This place is one of the most expensive fast-food spots in town, yet they canât even manage basic customer service. Panera Clarksvilleâyou need to get it together. Right now, youâre failing your customers, and Iâm done wasting money on a brand that canât even deliver what...
Read moreI'm a big fan of Panera Bread. Having lived in Colorado for 26 years, I remember visiting their first restaurant when it opened in 1998. Most Panera locations offer healthy food, a welcoming ambiance, and excellent service. Unfortunately, the Panera on State Street in New Albany, IN, falls shortâspecifically in customer service.
The employees appeared disengaged, avoiding eye contact and any interaction with customers. It felt like they were deliberately minimizing communication. Even when I made the effort to say "thank you" after picking up my order, I received no response. The lack of enthusiasm was obvious, and it was clear they werenât happy to be there.
In todayâs competitive restaurant industry, great customer service is essential to standing out. If this Panera doesnât address its service issues and retrain its staff, it risks losing customers over time. A business can serve great food, but without a positive customer experience, people will take their...
Read moreMy Dad and Mom wanted to take my family here for dinner one night. There was a total of 4 adults and one teenager. Every single one of us that had hot food came out cold. My wife had a piece of hair on her sandwhich. After she had received her knew sandwhich hair free, you could plain as day see the stares and whispers from the girls behind the counter that made my wife extremely uncomfortable. My dad had to get his soup warmed up multiple times and by this time i just decided to keep my pizza cold instead of us having to keep going back up there. We are not the type to send food back or complain about every little thing, but some stuff you just can't ignore. This place only had maybe 10-15 people in there counting my family so they were far from being slammed. Definitely would say it was a slow night. This restaurant just opened a month ago and they seriously need to train or retrain...
