Rushing into target just before closing to pick up some PLUMBR. When I went to the checkout line the cashier was in mid conversation with the previous customer while in conversation she was extremely pleasant and handed the woman her bags and wished he well before she left. During check out the cashier did not say ANYTHING to me (the customer) I spoke to her to break the ice however she just looked at me. When time for payment I placed the money in her hand as a sense of respect even though I felt disrespected because she didn't speak back. She cashed it out and I put my hand out however she looked at my hand and instead placed the money ($10.39) on the counter next the the card reader as she spinned the bag around so that I can grab it. I looked her in her eyes and asked that she had a better day. With the nation in uproar of the way black people are treated in America and racial injustice. The only obvious reason that she would have been so rude would be because of the color of my skin. She was not wearing a mask or gloves so she did not show the slightest intimidation of COVID. She did not treat the previous White customer the way she treated me and I will not support or recommend my family, friends or colleagues to support business that practice discriminative habits. As a customer I should be greeted and treated with respect while shopping and checking out. However, I feel as if I was disrespected at Target yesterday and I...
Read moreThe store is always clean and pretty stocked. Cashiers are quick and helpfull and they always have carts when you walk in the door. The reason they get 4 stars comes from the other employees and electronics however. They avoid you at all costs, they are always doing a lot of nothing for example there will be 4 employees folding women underware on 1 table or reading a book. These employees will always hide, run away, or ignore you. The few times you are able to ask someone like the electronics employees they will either say they can't get the item, they dont know where anything is, or they tell you to not buy it and to buy something else instead. I will say the exception is it was easy to purchase a new console on release however that was because an employee said they hid it but wasnt able to buy it so he'd go get it for us. Take as you will with that.
I have currently not been there since the Console Launch so employees may have changed or etc. Overall still good if you just want to run in and out and have Amazing cashiers...
Read moreThis store is always tidy and clean. I drive out of my way to go to this one because it's better than the Clarksville location by far. However, it often says online that they have items in stock, but when you get there they aren't on the shelves. When I've inquired, I've often gotten a similar response that they have "tons of stock in the back" and are reluctant to go see if it's there. This is not an instance of it saying they have ONE. For example, I went for a book today and it said they had four, but the shelf where the tag was for it was empty. I asked, and was told no one really works the entertainment department and it was probably in the back in one of the many boxes they had. A look of dread filled the girl's face, so I told her it was fine and left without what I came for. This has happened numerous times. Love the store, but it's frustrating that things they say they have aren't available...
