Chick-Fil-A restaurant in New Albany Indiana on state street is a absolute joke. They didn’t give us one of our sandwiches one night so upon returning and just asking for the sandwich I was told they could offer me a voucher for a free sandwich that will come in the mail but couldn’t give me my money back or give me the sandwich because they had closed 5 minutes prior. I contacted management via telephone the following morning with the receipt in my hand and I was just asking for me to bring my son whom the meal was for up there to get a replacement meal and I was told no that wasn’t an option but they could mail me a voucher for the sandwich. Ok fast forward to today I get the voucher in the mail along with a copy of the receipt attached saying “my receipt doesn’t show I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich” which is what I did order but apparently the girl with the iPad walking car to car taking orders didn’t put it in as a spicy chicken sandwich only as a chicken sandwich with no pickle add cheese so the voucher is only being issued for a regular chicken sandwich. So the fact I didn’t even get the sandwich is bad but had I even got the sandwich it would have been wrong by not being spicy and id still had issues with it and getting it replaced. What restaurant can’t just replace the sandwich making good with customers and move on with things? Apparently Chick-Fil-A don’t care about making customers happy. My whole order this night (09-07-2020) was over 30$ and all I wanted was the single sandwich but nope that didn’t happen. How petty? On 09/08/20 I called the chick-fil-a corporate office to file a complaint as well and of course I still haven’t heard anything back and I probably won’t. Horrible horrible experience and I kno my little business won’t make a difference in the amount of money they make daily but I won’t return and will not give good customer service recommendations. Even McDonald’s would have just give the missing sandwich right then making good with the customer, apologized even if they didn’t mean it and kept on going making for a...
Read moreSuper Frustrating experience tonight. Cashier Brittany after placing my order, was putting kids drinks on the counter and one had soda all over the top. I simply requested her to clean the top prior to meeting taking them to my car. She snidely advised me that the napkins were over behind me. As she was filling the next cup the smirk that ensued made the situation worse and I requested her manager. At first she looked at me like seriously? Yes, your manager. She got a team lead who was apologetic, as the lead was apologizing, Brittany was filling the last drink. She continued to have the stupid smirk on her face. I brought this to the lead while she was standing there pointing out that her smirk wasn’t helping. The lead was going to comp something, but I wasn’t looking for a comp on anything. This persons actions were rude snobby and flat out unnecessary. It’s not like I was requesting something outrageous, how many people hate getting cups with soda all over the top and sides…seriously. Her actions suggested. How dare you. I would expect that at McDonalds or Burger King. Well now that I feel like a complete Karen/Chad for not just letting it go. This person should understand that she didn’t have to do what she did. The cashier next to her had some large eyes suggesting what the heck with the customer in front of her. Brittany shouldn’t be there. Brittany is bad news for customer service at any place. Mark my words. I’m not the first person she has done that to and I’m sure I won’t be the last. Discard...
Read moreI hardly ever write reviews, good or bad. And I have never been disappointed in an experience at Chick-fil-a. However I was less than satisfied with my service this evening. I arrived just after 5pm on Saturday night, heading to an overnight shift at the hospital. I ordered the same meal that I always do, with a coffee, seeing as it’s cold outside now and I’m going to be up for the next 14+ hours. I’ve placed this very order many times before. When I arrived at my curbside spot, a team member came to let me know that they won’t be serving coffee since it’s so late and I have the option to choose something else. I wasn’t going to make a scene over coffee so I selected a different drink. However I feel that this is bad service. I did not show up right before closing - it was four hours before the store closed. I also have worked in the food industry for many years. If a customer requested coffee and we didn’t have fresh, we brewed a new pot. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen someone turned down because it is “too late in the day”, unless, as I said before, it was right before closing. I understand that it is just a cup of coffee, but I think this was poor service, and it is something that has not been a problem in the past. Unfortunately I had to make a trip across the street to Starbucks. If this is Chick-fil-a’s policy, to not serve coffee after a certain time of the day, then that should probably be mentioned in the menu, or it should be taken off as an option after the...
