I upgraded my phone almost a month prior at the jeffersonville location in which i was told i can return my old device to any AT&T store location within 30 days. Well the New Albany location did not want to deal with my device turn i was lied to told they couldnt even find my act anf this wad after the guy learbed i haf one of those pour on screen protectora that if b id known needed tonbe removed i would have done it myself. Instead this guy was ridiculously rude about it. He was rude in general. Once my new phone is paid off I am done with At&t. I called the jeffersonville location in a panic because i had like 2 days left to turn in my device. He told me he was sorry that he suspected that since i upgraded my device elsewhere the newalbany store didnt want to deal with the turn in. When i told him about the screen protector he was like great that will be fun in a sarcastic tone. I told him i had no problem removing it myself which is what I did. What is with people not wanting to do their jobs? i spend a ridiculous amount every month at at&t my phone bill last month was close to 400 bucks which is already frusterating in of itself. anytime i have an issue and halve to call in the ignore my issue and go straight to trying to push deals at me even when i have made it extreamly clear i am not changing my act or buying anything else. The damn near try to bully you into buying something else even when you tell them i can not afford to increase my bill they talk non stop about maximizing your benefits. After about an hour and a half back and forth with a custmer service rep. I was ready to just hang up which is what i ended up having to do. They called me back several more times and left voicemails basically telling me that if i refuae to do it their way right this instance they would agree to give me a few days to talk things over with my boyfriend which is what i had kept telling them i would not change anything to the act without first talking with him. So after and hour and a half they finally agreed to what i had kept saying. I didnt understand why i had to do what they wanted right now? It was when i heard a fenale voive on the other end of my call couching the guy on what to say that i hung up. Worst customer service every time i deal with at&t. Here is a...
Read moreI just switched carriers to at and t and I came to this store three times in the same day and each time was more frustrating than the last. By the second time, I would hope someone would have actually helped me. Instead I was greeted by a less than enthusiastic staff. By the third time, I was told "Google it". I'm a small business owner and if I talked to my customers this way, I would not last a day. Telling a customer to "Google it" is not an acceptable answer and its one of the biggest mistakes in business communication. You, as a representative of your company saying something like that, is the same as telling someone "because your not going to buy anything and boost my sales commission there is no reason for me too help you " which is wrong and is not reflective of what customer service is suppose to do. I came in the next day and had to argue just to get a SIM card. If you want to be a sales person, you should think about your customer retention. In your shoes, by the second time I saw someone walk in frustrated, I would have sat down at a desk with them and walked them through it in a clear, concise way. THAT IS MY EXPECTATION of what good...
Read moreThey took advantage of my kind, trusting parents. They lied to them about what they were getting, didn't provide any paper work nor a receipt of purchase. I went in with them to get clarification and they lied to me and told me if I didn't understand, I could call customer service to explain it to me. I did, while in the store, and loyalty customer care confirmed the reps were wrong and needed to fix it. The manager, who said his name was Michael, said "I'm the manager of this store and I'm right". Smug as could be! I asked to speak to his manager and was told "my manager is a non customer facing manager". I was told by Michael, if we wanted the problem fixed we had to call and fix it ourselves. We went to a corporate store and were told the reps at new albany were wrong. many things were changed on our account, including grandfathered items we can no longer get back. All done without proper explanation and others done with no consent whatsoever! They lied about insurance most likely for their own commission. Did I mention my Dad retired from AT&T? It should be illegal what they did....
