Jade Express - New Bern — Restaurant in New Bern

I’ve left a review before but deleted it because I’m so annoyed at my experience tonight and wanted to write a review to reflect that. First off the wait was insane, I waited half an hour when only one guy was in front of me, and then I wasn’t even asked what I wanted for five minutes after he was helped, I ordered and had to wait longer for more general tso which was ok but once the general tso was ready they gave away all the lo mein away I ordered and already paid for, they didn’t have mine prepared and made it so I had to wait another several minutes for it to be finished, all while not communicating with me and ignoring me asking how long it’ll take, the cashier was so rude and disinterested, barely speaking while interacting, I’m pretty sure she called someone else mom so I guess that’s how she has a job, and then when I finally got it no apology for the wait or giving away my food, no offer for complimentary food or drinks for the wait, she handed to me and said “here”, I left not wanting to be mean or make a scene but when I got home I found they didn’t even give me the right food, it wasn’t general tso and I ordered Philadelphia egg rolls and got regular veggie ones, this place used to be great but everytime I come here recently I’m more and more disappointed especially when that...

Ordered through Door Dash for the first time and not only was HALF of my entire $71.88 order missing, but when I called Jade Express and their LACK of empathy and professionalism totally shocked me! I usually spend $50+ every time I go and this isn’t the first time this has happened, not to mention bugs, food so burnt you could break a tooth, trust me I am not one of those ONE time bad experiences and rant and rave.... this has been 2 or 3 different occasions out of HAND FULL of times I have been there. The staff was rude and told me there was NOTHING they could do for me, I will take my business elsewhere where the staff is friendly and the food is consistent for the $$$$ .... I don’t recommend this place anymore!!!! WORST...

Honestly they have pretty good food. Too bad the service sucks so bad. Tonight I went in and they close at 9pm. At 7 pm they ran out of teriyaki, general tsos, and like 2 sides, and refused to make more. TWO hours before closing and half their food is gone. What kind of common sense is that? This happens alot, btw. Way too often. They're losing business and major money. Somebody replies on here saying "we're sorry" but it's obvious they're not actually doing anything about it.
