Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in New Braunfels

We arrived at this location at 9:30 PM. One employee was cleaning, while another lady asked us to wait as she cleaned the restroom. We waited about 10 minutes to place our order and then another 10 minutes for it to be prepared. At 9:57 PM, she informed the customers that they were closing and reminded us that they close at 10 PM.

I understand it was close to closing time, but we were already inside. I had no intention of taking advantage of the situation, but what bothered me was that they chose to focus on other tasks instead of serving customers. Making a banana split seemed like a hassle for them. My daughter had just won her softball game and was really excited to enjoy a dessert.

When we finally headed out the door at 10 PM, she turned off the lights before we could leave. Overall, the service was terrible. I was there 4/17/2025 Incase y'all need to check...

Ordered through Favor.... 2 triples and a double. Opened the bag and there was an obvious triple and 2 obvious doubles. I called Baskin Robbins and explained what happened. And she responded with “The new girls scoop small and put it into a double” Basically telling us we still are missing ice cream. No apology or we will fix it. NOTHING! Gave the phone to my fiancé which was told the same. He went up there and they scooped a 2 scoop. Then ran to the back to get and open another tub to put 1 scoop in. Making him hold the 2 scoop (which obviously melted) all 3 ladies had attitudes. This was the WORST customer service! And no I’m not blaming the guy through favor as we were run up for 2 triples and 1 double. PLUS...he even said when he got here “that place has gone down hill! 1/2 the equipment...

I don't often do bad reviews, but this was my biggest ice cream let down ever! Went in yesterday during the pandemic and was chocked how bad the hygiene was. The lady never changed the gloves even after payments and touched everyone's cones with the same glow. I de to stay since we celebrated someone in the families birthday,and went to order a royal banana Sunday to get it in a cup so the lady would not touch the cone... Big mistake! She touched all the banana pieces with the same nasty glows... Didn't wanna drama since it was pretty packed, took the ice cream threw it in the trash ($6). I would not have ate it handled that gross ever but socially not when we have a pandemic... With 10 years experience in the food industry I can't watch such bad food...
