Joe (boss) does not seem to care about what the barristas say whether they are reporting something regarding safety, security, or other events or even when they are trying to improve something in the store. he seems to only want the easy way on everything. So long as he gets a check I suppose. There are many things wrong with this place and a great majority if not all of them can be fixed with better upper management. The barristas offer great service and actually care about the customers, they go as far as remembering customer’s names, drinks that individuals usually purchase, greet you with a smile from the moment you pass the door way etc. upper management goes as far as bringing down its employees when a “unsatisfied customer” makes a fuss, even when said customers speak without reason, purpose or facts. Can’t keep every customer or potential customer happy, there is just no way not in the real world. It’s sad that Everyone posting comments reviewing this place always talk about the parking, but what they should really pay attention to is the way the barristas are treated by upper management. They made my drink wrong, it was a green tea frap with coconut milk and peppermint… they just gave me a regular and I am allergic to milk, then they specifically broke my straw (it’s a thing you can do to customers) and did not close my $20 pound of coffee and taped it, so it almost fell all out in my car. I even said, I see you got business I can wait if you need and the window person was so rude and continuously interrupted , dismissed and demeaning anything you said. Now I am having an allergic response, my mouth and eye are swelling and I will have intestinal issues in about 10 minutes to what was to be my breakfast smoothie that $8. They were being so rude and not giving me proper service they were mocking, destroying my products of purchase, trying to cause me actual harm by giving me the wrong drink and demeaning on top of it all. Read moreI was on vacation and visited this location, as it was the closest to our resort, and I actually loved the drinks. Each time they made them correctly, which is great, bc where I live the location never, ever makes them correctly.
However, the three stars is because when I told them a mistake their employees made - by not reloading my card (like we had asked) and instead just rang it up as a regular transaction - and didn’t just us our change back, he acted as though I was trying to steal $5 bucks from him. I only asked for the change that we didn’t receive and instead he’s like, ‘Here’s $20.00..’. Not what I asked - at all!
Also, the parking lot situation is insane. This parking lot would flow a lot better is everyone (customers worked together) but when you have inconsiderate a-holes, it makes it hard to maneuver the parking lot safely - I’m talking to the half a pea brain Lexus that didn’t want to back up this morning in the parking lot.
