This building is incredible. There is so much deep history rooted in the walls here that makes it so incredibly stunning and unique. We planned our wedding reception from afar before ever seeing the location in person and the photos hardly do it justice. From your own private iron gates entrance to the stunning staircase all the way up to both floors above with the mezzanine. Everything about it is breathtaking. The food was INCREDIBLE and chef Christina was so accommodating. They can literally do pretty much anything you request. We really fell in love with the staff and their magic elevated our event beyond words. Especially the bartender “P” and the door man. These little pieces made a huge difference. And that brings us to our event coordinator and on site manager Marissa. Marissa’s attention to detail made planning from afar effortless. She is very organized and didn’t miss a detail. Marissa, we felt so lucky to have you on the other side. Thank you all for everything you did to make our reception for our wedding what it was. We hosted our destination Halloween party with Rue Bourbon Parlours & Balconies in their famous balcony room above the Old Absinthe House and were blown away by the quality of service and flexibility.

Marissa and her amazing crew, Vanessa and Ray, were incredibly friendly and professional, making sure every detail was perfect. They truly created an unforgettable Halloween experience for our group.

The parlour setup was fantastic, complete with great sound and speakers that kept our DJ friends happy all night. The wraparound balcony overlooking Bourbon Street was absolutely unbeatable and gave us the perfect spot for a front-row view of the Halloween action below.

The cocktails were exceptional, far beyond your typical Bourbon Street fare. Sazeracs, Espresso Martinis, and French 75s were the crowd favorites, and every drink was crafted with care.

If you want to experience Halloween in New Orleans the VIP way, Rue should be your first call. We cannot recommend...

If I could give 6 stars, I would! I used Rue Bourbon to have a wedding "Welcome Party" because we're not local, and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. If you're lucky enough to get Marissa, I promise you're in good hands. She set us up with an amazing balcony room overlooking Bourbon St. which couldn't have been a better way to welcome friends and family to the city. The bartending and wait staff were professional and the drinks were goooood! Marissa let us bring in an outside musician to play for the party and even set us up with a TV at the last minute so we could watch a hockey game in the background from back home (Ovi was about to break the record). This exceeded all my expectations, and I couldn't be happier. They're worth every penny and then some! Thank you, Marissa & Rue Bourbon!...
