At first I was not even going to bother with a review; however, I will be writing to corporate about the customer service and passive aggressive behavior of their manager Jamie. I am very well aware and see the patterns of a complaint being posted about some of the workers here and a friend of theirs writing positive review of their experience shortly thereafter.
Customers beware, no one should have to tolerate condescending language and be questioned about proof of purchase of an item that you wish to return even though they wont let you EXCHANGE it, "due to overstock". Her service promotes antagonistic and child-like behavior yelling "thank you, byeeee" when I was at the end of attempting to resolve the matter. After my encounter with this young lady, she then calls my personal number about my previous day's order shipment that I had already confirmed with her earlier and on the previous day of in-store purchase. I asked for the purpose of the call as she began her antics, and she said she wanted to confirm everything I purchased since my exchange item purchase didnt have my name on the receipt I gave her. I reminded her of the transaction and her immediate and dismissive response was "would you like customer services number?" This question and behavior alone led me to writing the review as it was completely unnecessary. (All she had to do was look at the card numbers of both receipts if she really was doing her job to see that they matched.)
I gave this 3 stars due to the previous floor staff's work ethic and assistance for initial purchase. They were very helpful colormatching all items except for the one product that I ended up wishing to return after looking at the color label at the hotel. Unfortunately they have to work and tolerate their manager's behavior and poor leadership wish knocked them off...
Read moreWe do not recommend this particular Cosmetics Company Store after the experience we had today. A store employee contacted security on me and reported a “theft in progress” after apparently jumping to conclusions. I had put makeup I was going to be purchasing down on one of the counters while trying on foundation (I assume many do this). When the employee didn’t immediately see where I had placed the makeup (and they didn’t ask me about it; or request that I leave things I planned to purchase at the front counter- I would have been happy to do so), they assumed I was stealing something. I was standing in front of a mirror trying on makeup to decide which to buy when security asked me and my husband to step out of the store to search our bags. The store employee accused me of putting something in my bag but of course there was nothing there. The security guards were respectful and apologetic and we appreciated how they handled it. (They shared that they had viewed video before arriving and knew that there was no theft, but had to follow protocol). The store employee did not apologize, even when it became clear that we did not steal anything! There were so many better ways they could have handled/avoided/resolved the situation. Needless to say, we made no purchases there and will not step foot in this...
Read moreRude and Unprofessional Salesperson named Bridget who was more interested in counting change in her cash register than assisting me with product needs. Another Salesperson asked her to show me the eyebrow brushes and she angrily yelled right in front of me, “I’m counting!!” I interrupted her count, and said, “Excuse me Ms. Bridget, are you too busy counting your register to assist a customer?” Then, she stopped counting money & rudely offered to assist me. At that point, I was done with her bad attitude and left my items that I was going to purchase at the register. I’ll be sure to also inform District Management of her curtness and unwillingness to help customers. Regardless of how close it was to the store closing. Unprofessional and discourteous behavior.
