The store associate had a very "Crabby" attitude. A feminine black male was working when I visited the store today. He acted as if I was inconveniencing him by being a customer. I had seen a cute lil handbag displayed in the window so it caught my eye. I went into the store to inquire about it. The feminine guy was on his cellphone. He looked up from his cellphone to tell me the purse was located in the front of the store. He didn't offer to help me find it or try to assist me. I had given up locating the purse and was leaving the store and saw it. I took it back up to the counter to purchase it. He rang me up. I tried engaging with him..just asking small talk questions. He was very rude. I asked questions he was like "i don't know, I just work here." When he finished the transaction, he didn't give me bag or anything, or hand my purchase to me. I asked "Can I have a bag?" He said "We don't have any". There were shopping bags for sale. I said well can I have one of those bags since yall don't have any bags. He said you can buy one. I said I will be willing buy one at a discounted price as you do not have bags available and I don't walk to walk down the street with my purchase without a bag. He said no! I asked for a manager. He said he was the manager. I said your attitude is very customer friendly. I requested to return my purchase. I told him I didn't want to do business with his attitude. I wanted the item but I can buy it elsewhere. Customers have options of where we spend our money. I’m not spending money with retailers that don’t even have common courtesy and basic respect . But I will say this associate was the only negative experience in that whole shopping center. Every other store I visited the staff were pleasant and went out of their way to assist. This person needs training on customer service or he needs to find another job where he doesn’t have to interact with others and can just be paid to play...
Read moreCrabby Jack’s is such a gem! Popped in just to browse and ended up leaving with way more than I planned (in the best way). They’ve got a little bit of everything local snacks, cool souvenirs, quirky gifts, and even some really useful everyday stuff. The place has that cozy, old-school general store vibe, and the staff are super friendly and helpful without being pushy. Prices were reasonable too, which was a nice surprise. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a stop. Five...
Read moreStopped in to browse and ended up getting some great souvenirs and excellent customer service. The location we visited was out of stock in the size of a specific shirt we wanted to purchase. The store sales person apologized and immediately checked the stock and noted the other location in the French Quarter had it available. He proceeded to call the store and let them know we would be heading there later and gave us a coupon for 20% off because of the inconvenience. Great...
