Do not waste your $300 on the "curl transformation". My niece and I both booked this appointment, one after the other (mine for 12, hers for 1:30). We were both done and out of there by 1. She didnt even know who was who by the end of the appointments and had to ask our names again at the checkout. I spent maybe 20 mins total in Morgan's chair. I got little to no "coaching" (I say little because she did answer anytime I asked a question, but offered nothing outside of that) and both my niece and I left looking no different. I repeatedly asked for her to cut off my damage for a shorter haircut. She insisted she didn't need to; then at the end of the appointment said my curls would do better after another cut by her to get the damage off, when I returned...for another paid appointment. My niece voiced multiple times that she prefers her hair diffused, but she was still stuck under the drying hood for the vast majority of her appointment.
When I messaged her about my concerns, she put the blame on me for not mentioning it at the salon. I was, however, being recorded for her content and didn't feel comfortable bringing it up then. She offered for me to come back in to cut off more length like I had originally asked, but I live 2 hours away from the salon. I was devastated about the whole situation. Unfortunately hair was cut unevenly & I cannot wear my hair in any other style besides a bun or down because you can see how uneven the cut is. I reach out to Morgan to get a partial refund because I have to get my hair fixed (another $250) it took her forever to respond to me and even after I sent pictures she took almost another two weeks to address my concern. I wasnāt mean or nasty in the messages at all, so it seemed like she was avoiding me so she didnāt have to take responsibility for my uneven hair cut & bangs. She did give me a partial refund , but it was way less than I was hoping because curly haircuts arenāt cheap! She said that even her ponytail isnāt all the way around, but Ive never had a haircut where my ponytail is so lopsided that everyone makes comments about it. Itās really unfortunate that my hair came out so bad, cos I really wanted to like it there.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in for a deva cut, and while it left my curls looking much better than before, the back of my hair was longer than the front, and i didnt care for that. So i went back today to get the back evened up and a bit shorter in kind of a long angled bob, and left looking like shirley temple with the initial goal of a long curly angled bob. She had great intentions and she really made my curls pop. I think she was moving to fast and disnt really listen to how i wanted the length. So my main complaint is it is way to short. She cut it dry, and with product in it, my hair shrunk another inch My advice would be to just have her slow down a bit and really make sure that she is clear on what the customer wants. I will make aure to be a bit more aggressive next time im in there.
Edited to say that if you have 3a 3b or 3c type hair, i would suggedt to go in with it styled curly so you dont have to worry about shrinkage after your haircut. Just my...
