Absolutely terrible experience tonight. After paying at checkout around 11:50 p.m., the machine froze during processing. Our bank app immediately showed the charge, but the cashier, Hamed, made us wait about 20 minutes before even rebooting the system. Even then, he insisted the payment hadnāt gone through āon his sideā and refused to give us the snack we had already paid for.
The whole ordeal dragged on until nearly 1:00 a.m. Because of this, we missed our bus and had to pay for an Uber home. Hamedās only āsolutionā was to tell us to come back at 7 a.m. to speak with a manager. Shouldnāt there be a manager on night shift to handle problems like this?
To make matters worse, while Hamed was fixated on us (the honest customers who had already paid), another customer walked out with their items without paying ā and he didnāt even notice.
So now we are out the money and the items. This is unacceptable and feels like theft. I understand technical issues happen, but the way this was handled showed zero care for the customer.
I hope management takes this seriously, because this kind of treatment is absolutely...

The cashier is telling me I have to purchase the water again because my receipt doesnāt prove that I made the purchase when it clearly showed it was paid through Apple Pay.
