Superstar vendor alert!!! I don’t have the words to express just how incredible Abby Lauren’s team was. I had Hailey along with Marvin and Kaori doing the hair and makeup for myself and about 12ish other women. They were a dream team.

Rewinding a bit: let me start off by saying that I have really sensitive skin and almost never wear makeup. When I went in for the trial, they were so patient with me and went slowly so we could collectively monitor how my skin was responding to the products. They made me feel so comfortable and taken care of in a moment when I was out of my comfort zone, which was invaluable leading up to and on the wedding day. They’re also funny and fun and brought great energy! It made getting ready so much more chill and it was the perfect way to start the marathon of a wedding day.

ALSO: all my friends said they loved the way they looked (two even asked for their cards because their mothers texted that it was the best wedding hair/makeup they had ever seen on them). And by the end of the night, my makeup STILL looked amazing. I’ll be bummed if I’m getting my hair/makeup done for somebody else’s wedding, and it’s not by the Abby Lauren team. I don’t know what kind of magic this crew possesses, but I want it.

Hiring Abby and her team was easily one of the best wedding decisions I made! I had been looking for a while when I connected with Abby and knew immediately on our first call that she was the right choice. I did my trial with Abby and Kaori and they worked with me to create exactly the look I wanted. I was very focused on a natural look and looking "like myself" and they really delivered. On the wedding day, we had Abby and Emma doing makeup and Kaori and Emma on hair. Everyone looked fantastic and loved the way their hair and makeup came out. Almost equally importantly, the whole team brought a great vibe to the morning - keeping everyone calm and everything on track (despite us throwing some schedule changes at them at the last minute). They also made everyone feel very comfortable (we had quite a few who hadn't really done hair and makeup before and were a little hesitant, but came away thrilled with the experience). On top of all of that, all the hair and makeup really held up throughout the day. My 10am look was still pretty intact by the time everything wrapped up almost 16 hours later! The most talented, caring, and kind artist! Abby created the most beautiful wedding look that made me feel like myself and lasted all night. Abby Lauren was recommended to me by my photographer, Justin mcCallum, for my wedding. From the first call we had, Abby and I clicked immediately and I knew that she would be able to bring my makeup vision to life. My mom and I each had a trial with her and Abby nailed the look the first go around. I had done a couple of other trials and was coming in a little wary, but I showed Abby what I was thinking and she didn't just look at the reference images and start working - she heard my concerns and my asks and made me feel so taken care of. Originally Abby was just going to do makeup for my mom, MIL, MOH, and me but after our trial, I expanded the list to include all of my bridesmaids as well. On the day of my wedding, My group could not stop raving about Abby and her beautiful work. She made us all feel so beautiful and our best selves.
