Satori Laser — Local services in New York

I’ve been visiting since this location opened in March 2020. I was the first customer :) The location is modern, clean, and the staff is very nice. I have never had an issue on making an appointment or rescheduling. I get laser here obviously. I can’t speak for pain as everyone has different a pain tolerance but do expect some discomfort with laser, great results though. Currently have underarm, full stomach, brazilian and full legs. Pain level is different in each area. It feels like I’m being whipped with a rubber band on fire constantly. That’s how my nerves detects it, could be different for you, plus I’m on the slim side. The more meat you have the less pain and I’m also a black female so keep that in consideration. It will hurt more to penetrate through melanin. So I say it varies for those concerned about pain, your experience will be different from mine. I’m still going over a year later. My tech Marina is super friendly and funny so that helps to take my mind away from the pain but still do expect discomfort but truly beauty is pain isn’t it? I call it my torture session days but I love the results, I hate the process. Everything is great here, I would highly recommend visiting Satori to get your laser done if you’re someone who hates to shave or wax, if it’s time consuming, if you’re someone who gets ingrown or bumps or skin irritations or skin discoloration, or the embarrassing scarring and you’ve tried everything under the rocks and sea I definitely recommend laser to solve those issues. I’ve had such a great experience over the last 2 years with Satori. I’ve never been to any other laser salon in NYC or otherwise but can safely say that the exceeded my expectations. The staff are very friendly and patient with scheduling appointments, detailing services and offers and are really good about following up with them. I’ve had a couple of different professional technicians but my favorite so far has been Anna who works out of the Penn Station branch. Not only is she great at what she does, but she’s warm, friendly and patient about pain levels and calibrates the laser accordingly. She’s great to work with if you’re starting sessions for a large area. The facilities are clean and stocked with amenities like candy and coffee which is great if you’re stopping by after a long day or in-between errands. The location is very accessible as it’s right next to Penn station. The other thing I like, is that there are no wait times. The appointments are on time and I’m usually in an out without any hassle. The only thing I wish I could have, that would make the experience amazing is if I got a digital copy detailing the history of my visits, types of sessions and time spans between each. I’ve been coming here since 2021 and I will probably never switch to a different location. I initially came for armpit treatment but progressively ended up doing, basically, my whole body. Everyone is so friendly and Marina, my technician, is truly the best! Laser hair removal is not fun but she always makes me feel comfortable, whether it be giving me stress balls, taking a few breaks, or distracting me by asking about life. Also the results are great! The best thing I could’ve done for myself! It’s also important to know how it works and to have realistic expectations. For example, the hairs on my armpit, legs and private areas (thick) have responded better than the hairs on my belly (fine). Like I saw results after the first session with areas with thick hair compared to fine areas, where the hairs grew back the same. It’s also a bit pricey compared to other places but it’s so worth it- for the quality, the people, and the experience. I have done about 8 sessions for my arm pits and the hair takes a really long time to grow back and when it grows it’s super fine. I’m only about 5 sessions in for my private areas and about 4 sessions in for my legs and the hairs grow really fine, where I can go months without shaving. Overall, I...
