Alchemy 43 Upper East Side — Local services in New York

Booked an appointment here for free 20 units (stating "no strings attached"). Spoiler alert, there are strings attached. I have been getting 20 units in my forehead for 10 years and recently lost my botox nurse to maternity leave, so I thought I would try Alchemy 43. Told this to the nurse during my consult. Then the girl in the front comes in to talk about price and they want me to do 40 units, I assume so that they can still charge me, but odd since this is RIGHT after I told the consult lady I always do 20. They also charge glabellar lines separately from forehead lines (but will not do them separately). Odd and first time dealing with this and been to many different places. But what really caused me to walk out the door was the fact that they would not do less than 10 units in my glabellar lines. Everytime I have been to botox for my forehead they evenly distribute it since my concerns are my forehead lines and not my glabellar lines, I stated my concern for getting 10 units in that area since it seemed high and they said that was "the lowest they would go". This made it clear they were talking about money and not my treatment concerns so I left and will never come back. I will never return to a place that doesn't listen to the concerns about getting a toxin injected into your face. AVOID. Immediately booked with BodyFactory and was welcomed...

I was very disappointed with my most recent visit to this location. So much so that I left with no services done. I’m an alchemy member and have been for about 3 years. Most visits are highly attentive with active consultations. This was the opposite. My consultation for Botox included ‘did you like when x did the service’ I tried to answer to explain what I liked and didn’t, and response was ‘well you age differently overtime so I’ll make the assessment for you’ When discussing fillers, I explained what was desired and what I had done in the past. A recommendation came back for a different part of my face and when I questioned that, I was told the provider would come back to discuss. They didn’t. When they finally did, no apology for having me sit there for half an hour was given. Just that my request would require a different product. (Ok - then we could have talked about that in the first place, no??) By the end ,I lost confidence so thoroughly that I was heard and the results would be customized for me, that I left. I really hope things go better at...

I have done a variety of treatments at Alchemy43, and have had a great experience. Danny is very helpful and knowledgable. He and the team have always strived to ensure I am completely happy with my results. Danny has also always worked with any available promotions to get me the most fair price. He also introduced me to a new favorite product, the SkinMedica hyaloronic serum. An example of his kindness, is that I was a little swollen after a treatment (as expected) and I was worried because I was in a wedding the next week. He put me under the red light for free!
