I went there for a single process root color, highlights, cut and blow dry. The woman who washed my hair after the brown root color did not adequately protect my blond highlights rendering them light brown. I indicated that to Arson and inquired what he can do to rectify that. Being tired, I fell asleep and awoke to find my entire hair in foil. You’re not supposed to highlight the hair area previously done. My hair is so damaged that I lost chunks of hair and have flyaways all over my head. After going to a Madison Avenue salon, I was told it will take me a year to repair my hair and grow it out. Aside from the bad hair experience, I was baited to express my political beliefs s about the new President being asked- what do you think about what’s going to happen Jan 20 and other political topics. All three working there made it very clear how annoyed they were about my opinions. I know I should not have answered. Did they not know that people go to a hair salon to look better and relax. Then I am asked if I color in my eyebrows or have them tattooed. I looked him in the face, told him my brows had been as thick as his, but never grew back well after cancer and chemotherapy. I shamed him, knowing and others agreeing that he was trying to put me down. It cost me close to $800.00 with tip, paying cash. I was asked what I paid at my previous salon. I was told I was given a “special price”. Special for them,...
Read moreI visited the salon first time with the bold decision to cut my long hair, a choice that filled me with both excitement and nerves. The moment I stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere put me at ease. My biggest appreciation goes to Arsen and Fernando, the talented stylists who worked on my hair. Arsen skillfully handled the scissors, giving me a fresh and flattering cut that exceeded my expectations after having a long hair for so long. Meanwhile, Fernando worked his magic with highlights, to match exactly what I had asked for. Their attention to detail and commitment to fulfilling my vision was truly remarkable. Now I’ve been a regular at this salon, always returning for that invigorating feeling of a fresh cut. The end result is always stunning, a perfect blend of skill and style that left me feeling revitalized and confident. I can’t recommend this salon enough for anyone looking to transform their hair with complete trust and...
Read moreI am two weeks away from giving birth and the baby basically just rests on my bladder. I was embarrassed to ask, but all the places I walked into were packed, so I asked the front desk here to please use their facilities. The young man at the desk said the manager doesn’t like it. I begged him please. I was in a lot of pain also with contractions. I walked to the back and used the facilities and when I came out he asked me if I had cleaned up after myself. I didn’t even understand what he meant, so said, huh? He said yes, did you clean up after yourself. I was mortified and horrified. I mean is this a race thing? Did I look homeless? I wasn’t in there long. I was so confused. And insulted. There seemed to be female patrons at the salon. I would like to think if I was ever sitting in my go-to salon and saw an employee treating an obviously pregnant women shamefully I would speak up. Shame on this...
