I’d give this place zero stars if I could. The customer service is self-serving and not customer focused at all. The employees are rude and ignore money that walks through the door. I came to this specific location after a similar situation happened on 6th Avenue - on the same night. I needed a pair of shoes before a trip out of town. The store hours online show that this location closes at midnight but when I arrived at 9pm the doors were locked and the employees refused to even acknowledge that I was trying to get their attention. I even tried calling the store and I saw the female associate look at the phone and then look in my direction. She purposely ignored the phone after realizing it was me calling. The male associate just stood on the sales floor trying his best not to make eye contact.
As someone who worked in retail in my youth, I can’t understand how these employees are still employed by this company. To close the store three hours before the scheduled time was something worthy of being fired for when I worked in the retail sector. Especially if there are paying customers at the door ready to spend money. I guess times have changed or this company doesn’t mind hiring unperfessional workers with no moral compass. I’ll never shop at either locations again, but particularly this location. I’ll also be sure to spread the word among family and friends.
Note to management: Whatever male/female duo worked the evening shift on Thursday March 15th 2018 are a terrible example of what you should have representing your company. If it were my store they’d be put on a...
Read moreOn the 10th of saturday the customer service was good with the salesperson that dealt with me. She was very helpful. However, the floor manager in all black was hostile towards me and another customer. When my box of shoes arrived upstairs around 6:45pm the lady pointed out that it belonged to me. The floor manager then looked at me, rolled her eyes and walked away and dropped the box on the seat away from me rather than hand it to me. There is no reason to be hostile towards customers. She should already understand that you must be hospitable to all individuals walking inside the store. I also watched how she dealt with the white customers. She treated them lovely because she know better. I promise to send my friends back into the store and catch her on camera treating black men with hostility. And yes, everyone will witness what i am saying is true. ALDO do not stand by disrespectful employers. This experience have me feeling like she hates black men. Everyone else in the store...
Read moreThe woman brought me the wrong size shoe several times and when I attempted to mention this to her she literally stated-in a rather sweet and high tone, "I'm going to kill you." I did come in in Christmas day 2017 as I was on vacation and wanted to stop by as my shoes had broken upon arrival to my hotel, and I understand that for many, it is very unfair to have had to work that day, a national holiday. However, under no circumstances is there a reason to tell a customer, "I'm going to kill you." Not only was she unattentative, she made several mistakes and tried to sell me the wrong size because she didn't want to assist me in any great detail. I watched her have entire conversations with three different groups of customers but for some reason chose to ignore me. Working on Christmas sucks. I get that. Customer service sucks I get that too. If a store is open, it sucks for a customer to get half baked service and...
