Where can I start from, love love love the store. But not the customer service, coming from a place where customers are your priority and they are always right. Had a completely opposite experience, last night. I make a selection, and am waiting at the register, for two employees to finish their "very important conversation.". Without paying any attention and serving the customer, this went on for a good 3 mins. Then i was asked a general question, which i gave an answer of. Saying yes this is all, please pack it up i am in a hurry, thank you i appreciate it. I got two pair of earrings. I see two tissues coming out for packing them. I turn my head around like for a minute. And i see the cashier, wrapping up both the pair of earrings in the same wrapper. I said excuse me, can you please pack it two separate tissue. Even though annoyed still being polite and using please. With the fact that earrings were delicate and could be damaged if not packed properly. It was a limit when the cashier said "you said you were in a hurry so i packed it all in the same one and if you want in two different tissue wrapping it will take time." My reply to her after making the customers wait and not giving good customer service was well if you don't waste your time in talking maybe things can be faster. So her response was, she pushing the earings wrapped in one tissue towards me and says if thats the case why dont you do it by yourself. I took it and wrapped it, saying well i can but this is not a good customer service. This is not the way to treat customers first you are busy talking and then this is how you treat. So both employees standing at the register called me rude. And i was like i am going to think twice and as i am walking out of the store saying how it was a bad experience, there are screaming you are rude from the back. Such amazing customer service, got treated such a way for being right and not using any curse words of any sort or nothing. I would watch myself before going to this store at around 9. I went today (Dec 9) with my mother to pick out a few bags to purchase. Everything was going well until one salesperson completely ruined my experience. First of all, this is New York City; most of the time salespeople ignore you. Which is totally fine by me.
However, I had trouble reaching something from the top shelf, and customer service was not available. In fact, the customer service did not look like they wanted to help in the first place. I used a bag I was aiming to purchase to slide it slightly off the shelf, so I could retrieve it with my hand. This salesperson named Chestyna proceeded in reprimanding me, GRABBED the bag from my hand, and THREW it against the wall next to me. When I tell you I was SHOCKED, that's an understatement.
I replied that there was no need to be rude and that I was actually trying to get a bag from the top shelf. She walked away without apologizing at all. I decided to try to ignore the situation but I was internally furious at the way my mother and I were treated. The worst part is there was a special of 30% off purchases of $100 or more, and one pair of shoes that was listed for $80 came up as $60 in the system. Instead of telling me that it was below $100 and asking me if I wanted to find something else to purchase to make it over $100, they scanned their dumb water repellant spray as part of my purchase to make it over $100 without telling me!!! When I asked why they were scanning it and they realized the price of the shoes came out wrong, instead of honoring to system price they hiked it back up to $80 and ripped us off.
