This is an amazing Dance school. The entire teaching staff are professional and always go the extra mile to ensure the children get the best training and experience. To me it is always the little things that make an impact. I remember early on I was walking by the school and someone was calling my name I looked and it was Rysa the owner of All Star Studios. First I was amazed she knew my name second I was amazed she took the time to say hello. I have been in places where the teachers just rush out and dont look at anyone when leaving. They truly and genuinely care for each individual. Families and the All Star Team are truly a family. We celebrate together, and are there to support each other in tough times. I cannot image my family without All Star Studios and all the families, as we say we are a.Dance Family.

I wrote the following not too long ago during these tough times and I belive it sums up how great Rysa, her school and the families are. Come in and you will be hooked you can feel the energy as soon as you come in.

Rysa Childress-Dreishpoon Ana and I truly appreciate and are grateful for all you and your team do. In these uncertain time you all have displayed your dedication and caring. The way you are all teaching and staying connected is amazing. I observe and listen to some of the classes and it amazes me how each teacher knows each student and watches each student so intently and sees everything and give feedback. I have zoom meetings with my team which is approx 60 people and it is hard for me to keep track and we are only talking. It displays your professionalism, dedication and resolve. To us this is more than a dance school it truly is a family. Sophia has been with you since she was three and Olivia about the same age. The way they talk about you, Shauna and Victoria AND Stephie shows that it is more than admiration it truly is love for you all. We have talked about moving at times and Sophia has been adamant we cannot as she will not dance at another school. I believe that says it all. Thank you for all you and the All Star Team do through good times and tough times.. You are an extension of our family and we will always support you and the team. You dont know how much i will miss Daddy Dance this year. But as I tell my team when you and we get back we will do so...

I love All Star Studios. As both a former employee for 7 years, and now a parent with a 3 year old who takes Preballet, I can say wholeheartedly that this place is run by loving, special people. The owner, Ms. Rysa, is devoted to making the studio a second home for the students (and staff)! I've witnessed students grow from little dancers to successful adults that are refined performers and well rounded individuals. Students have been able to attend prestigious performing arts schools and programs because of the skills acquired at All Star Studios.

Your child will flourish here! The annual recitals are well organized, entertaining, and a great display of the skills taught. My daughter went from being too nervous to even go into class to being excited for class and begging to go on stage again! Shoutout to the teachers and class assistants for being so patient and encouraging to her!

What makes this place extra special is the authenticity of the teachers and desk staff. They remember your child, treat families warmly, and are just amazing humans behind closed doors too.

There is no cattiness, no drama, just love and good values here. The teachers become mentors for the students, and classmates become life long friends. The dance families create a village and support one another - not just by carpooling but through hard times too.

I grew up in the dance world, earned a BFA in Dance, had an 18-year career as a professional dancer which included a 10-year continuous run on Broadway and now I am the Dance Area Head at a successful NYC Dance Conservatory. I consider myself an extremely hard critic when it comes to the quality of dance teachers and dance schools in general. I consider All Star Studios in Forest Hills, Queens to be an excellent school to learn the discipline of dance and acro! I am the mother of a 12-year-old who has been dancing at All Star for 8 years. Believe me, I did significant research when I was searching for the perfect dance studio for my daughter to study dance. I am so happy I found this school. I believe it is the best school for her to learn proper technique and fall in love with the art of dance. The owner of the school, Ms. Rysa, is warm and treats everyone with kindness. Her positivity, amazing energy and total acceptance trickles down to the front desk, the teachers and the students. The studio is safe and clean. My daughter loves this studio! It is her home away from home. All of the students are supportive of each other and have become very close friends. The teaching staff is top notch and they work hard to teach proper technique and high-performance qualities.
