Ann Taylor Factory Store — Local services in New York

I walked into the Ann Taylor Factory store on Austin Street a few weeks ago to browse. I needed clothes for my upcoming trip to Italy in May. I looked around and found a lot more than I was expecting to find. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the thought of trying on the pile of clothing I had just been picked out. Never in a million years did I expect to find the kind of person /associate working in the dressing room. She introduced herself, asked what my name is and kindly said. “ I’ll be here to help with any sizes you might need”. In all my years of shopping I have never come across an associate as kind and as professional. Her name is RONNIE. She was an absolute angel. I was in the dressing room for probably two hours trying on different sizes and different colors to create the perfect outfits. Ronnie must have made what felt like a hundred trips pulling out different sizes for me as I went back and forth deciding which size fit better. Always with a smile on her face while helping me choose the best fit for me. At one point I expressed how bad I felt about making her go back and forth while helping others in the dressing room as well. She smiled and said that’s why I’m here. When I finished trying everything on she helped me sort my outfits and kindly walked with me to the register. Always smiling and kind. Never did she make me feel bad. I also met the store manager and let me say she was pretty amazing as well. The Ann Taylor store at this location has a great team. They comunicare well with each other for the interest of the customer and are very pleasant. I hope the higher ups and corporate recognize the quality of customer service that is provided by these wonderful employees. I wish I could say the same for so many other stores that lack customer service skills. When spending your hard earned money on clothes, nothing compares to the emotional high that absolutely fantastic individualized customer service provides. To experience what I am talking about ask for assistance from Linda and Lisa. They are professional, patience, knowledgeable and kind. Lisa recommended the appropriate fit for my body type allowing me comfort and confidence. Best customer service at store 02244. Linda creates a warm and friendly environment where her customers and employees, in my view, are treated with respect. Thank you, both.

Update On September 22, I had the pleasure of being assisted with my shopping needs from the entire staff, including Amily and Cher. Amily was great and graceful. Fran was amazing!! I absolutely hate shopping, never had to shop business attire before, and had no idea what size I am. I’m so indecisive and picky, worst combo. But Fran was so so so helpful and patient. She gave me sizes I didn’t even think to try on to fix the issues that didn’t work for me. I was able to get everything I needed for my new job. And I forgot to even mention the clothes. I bought 5 pants, 2 blazers and 1 blouse. Everything fit perfectly and was so comfortable. Fran helped so much with playing around with styles, curvy vs regular, and even sizing between petite and regular. I was amazed by the variety especially that I could find things that fit so well!
