Apple Gourmet Farm — Local services in New York

I have lived across the street from them for 3 years now and it has a very special place in my heart!

I feel like this place has really grown with me and seen all sides of me - drunk getting instant ramen at 2am, coconut water post run, flowers for a friend who got dumped, when I need ice or drinks for a party, missing ingredient mid cook, looking at Christmas trees during the holidays, Tylenol when I have a headache, ran out of toothpaste, when I am just craving a snack.. and the best part is.. they have EVERYTHING you need for every occasion!!

Not to mention that the people are super kind, honest, and extremely hardworking. They really do go out of their way to stock up on their customer’s favourites. Thank you for always being there when a girl needs...

An excellent store for flowers, fruits, nuts, vegetables, chips, cookies, chocolate!!! And the other food necessities such as milk, cereal, oatmeal, soup, rice, a great selection of teas and coffee as well as Sabra hummus and cheeses. It is always impeccably clean and run by its owner, a lovely and sweet and kind man named Jay, with a wonderful staff. I recommend it highly and shop there often. I also often find that the prices of many of the items sold in the store are the same as those of a grocery store like the rather nearby Brooklyn Fare. Highly recommended for the lovely staff and the excellent products sold there. Plus the lovely selection of flowers, and sometimes plants such as succulents....

When they described New York City as the “City that never sleeps”, they must have had Apple Gourmet Farm in mind. This market offers round-the-clock quality foods and produce which, for me, has often rescued a dinner in mid-preparation. An added plus is that they have many items that are not generally carried by the usual corner store or deli but are essential to some more involved recipes. The people working at the store are very friendly and helpful which makes it a quality...
