My story: I was on vacation when my iPhone X randomly shut off and would not power back on. It wasn’t wet. I didn’t drop it.

I brought it to TWO different Apple stores, and both geniuses agreed that my phone was dead, unfixable and also... worthless. What was $1200 less than two years ago, now couldn’t even be traded in! And to make things worse, my last day of vacation photos had not yet been backed up in iCloud.

I was about two seconds away from dropping another $1200 on the newest phone, when I had a thought - “why don’t I just bring my phone into that repair shop I always see on the way to work and just see what they say?”

I’m glad I did. Because I did, I am typing this review on that very same “worthless“ phone. And, I have all of my vacation pictures! No data lost!

I dealt with Sunny, who couldn’t have been nicer and more upfront about the cost and the time it would take to fix. The price was fair, and the phone is now worth more as a trade-in or resell than AppleBerry charged me for their services.

I have never written a Google review before. I may not write another one. But AppleBerry deserves the praise. I would not hesitate to...

This is the ONLY place I will take my devices for repair in the future. Sunny is a total professional and a pleasure to do business with. There are many repair shops out there but very few that know how to do proper diagnostics and more complex repairs beyond screen and battery replacements. You never know what the underlying issue is so it's best to take it to real professionals that have the skills and knowledge to handle just about anything.

My son's iPhone 8 Plus had a charging issue (wired and wireless) where it would sometimes charge then would not charge at all. I initially took it to a local shop near my house but they failed to properly diagnose the issue and only replaced the battery. The issue persisted and I was not confident taking it back to that local shop. I had an iPad repaired at AppleBerry pre-COVID and was happy to see they are still in business at their Times Square location on 7th Avenue.

I had a cracked bezel on my Macbook Air 13 that Apple quoted me $450 to fix. Luckily, I came across AppleBerry’s Facebook page and I had an upcoming business trip to NYC so I gave Sunny a called and tried to work out a plan to drop off my device for repair.

Sunny was SO accommodating, offering to come into the shop on Sunday when it would be closed just to work on my computer. I couldn’t let him do that so I dropped it off on Thursday when I had a free moment from the work I was doing in the city. He’s so personable, took the time to get to know me, had me drop off my computer and it was ready in 2 hours afterwards. It looks BRAND NEW, like the crack never existed. I’m from Florida and couldn’t find anyone directly near me to coordinate the repair and Sunny did it SEAMLESSLY for less than half the price Apple quoted me. I owe Sunny more than just the cost for repairs, I owe him my respect, more of my business if I’m ever in need, and a positive review of the stellar work he did.
