I'm deeply disappointed with the service provided at this salon. Despite directly expressing my concerns to my stylist, Jenna, I encountered evasion and a complete lack of accountability.

During my appointment, I made it explicitly clear that I wanted my hair to be just above my shoulders while maintaining its thickness and volume. However, the final result was drastically different from the four reference photos I had provided. My hair barely reaches my chin, and it was significantly thinned out with shears.

Although I left the salon feeling upset with my hair, I gave it a day before deciding that I was dissatisfied with the outcome. Once I did reach out to her, Jenna admitted to cutting my hair based on a photo I had shown her two weeks prior. A photo I intentionally chose not to display during the appointment as it was too short. Still, she failed to take responsibility for the significant discrepancy between our discussion and the actual result.

I had hoped for a resolution, especially considering the salon's one-week redo policy. However, given the significant amount of hair that was taken off, there is simply no possibility of fixing the haircut. Therefore, I kindly requested a partial refund as the only appropriate measure to address the situation. I firmly believed it was more than fair given the stark contrast between how she cut my hair and the photos I showed.

Despite my attempts to communicate, Jenna chose to ignore my messages, displaying a concerning lack of professionalism.

If the salon is unwilling to reach out to me to discuss a resolution, I'll have no choice but to explore other avenues for recourse. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. As a result, I will not be returning, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this...

I wouldn’t trust anyone other than Art + Autonomy Salon with my hair. Jeffrey Jagling is an artist and a magician. He completely understood me and what I wanted. Unfortunately, having experienced far less than pleasing haircuts from other salons in the past, I fully understand, appreciate and urge the importance of listening to the customer. I put my full and complete trust in his hands, and I was so thrilled with my hair when I left. I've never felt so comfortable and relaxed in a salon before having the certainty that the hairdresser knew what he was doing and was going to listen to me. Not only is Jeffrey the nicest guy, but he is truly talented at his craft. Art + Autonomy Salon is by far the best salon with the best hair stylists. The salon is clean, sleek, and beautiful. They greet you warmly with a smile, take your coat, and offer you a drink. Jeffrey gave amazing advice when I was uncertain what I wanted with my hair. He was extremely patient while I explained what I didn’t want and showed him photos. Jeffrey was able to give my hair amazing style while keeping it in line with what he knew I’d be comfortable with and love.

I’ve also had my hair cut by Tom, and he fully listened to me and did exactly what I asked. It’s so nice finally to be able to trust someone with scissors and your hair.

I've had so many compliments just in the last couple days, and this haircut makes me feel more confident, fresh, healthy, and beautiful. I highly recommend...

As a guy, the vast majority of my life I have gone to equivalent of supercuts, sports cuts, and many other sub $20 in-an-out type "salons." This is because I thought hair was simple and that was the only thing worth paying.

Until I met Jeffrey at Art and Autonomy.

What I went for was a "haircut" and what I got was a hair experience.

The staff were incredibly courteous and professional and the space itself is warm and beautiful. Instead of asking me how I want my hair and then just getting to it, Jeffrey asked how I normally do my hair, and then made recommendations based on that style and what better fit my face and head shape - something I had literally never considered once before. He walked me through what he was doing, why he was doing it, and then spent time with me on how to style it day-to-day once I leave. He recommended products that worked with the style that gave me the exact look and feel I wanted out of my hair.

As a doctor, how my hair looks can influence how my patients feel about me (which seemed ridiculous at first, but now I know it's true), so it's important to take it seriously and have it done right.
