It was the service for me. You never know when you're going to get a rude staff or a nice staff when walking into any place nowadays. There was 6 of us and we called ahead of time before heading there to see how long the wait would be. They said give it about 10 minutes. When we got there, we checked in with hostess, then we waited about 15 minutes and next thing you know we get called in ! It was a saturday around 12-1pm so its hustle and bustle time. We got very lucky getting seated within 15 minutes. But we didnt mind waiting if it were to take longer because everywhere else nearby had a longer wait time. So we got our food ordered, the waiters were great. The food came out in a timely manner. The waiters kept checking in to see how everything was and it was just overall nice! The food was good! Its a diner so it did its job by feeding us lol Most of us ordered breakfast items. My sister LOVED the Mac and cheese bowl. I forget the exact name for it but it had a nice crust to the top and the flavor just melted in your mouth. Breakfast Sausages weren't dry. Sometimes sausages are dry at certain diners but these were juicy! French toast was great. Overall the service was amazing and that will make me come back again the next time I visit NY....

Times Square Diner & Grill is where the heart of New York City beats in every bite! Nestled in the vibrant Theater District, this bustling diner is a symphony of flavors and friendly vibes. Picture this: you step inside, and the aroma of sizzling bacon and freshly brewed coffee envelops you. The menu is a love letter to classic American comfort food, with generous portions that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance. 🥓☕ Breakfast here is legendary—whether you’re craving a Western omelette with ham, onions, and peppers or diving into a stack of cinnamon-kissed French toast, you’re in for a treat. And let’s talk about their potato home fries—crispy, golden, and addictive! 🍳🥞 The service? Lightning fast and genuinely friendly. The staff at Times Square Diner & Grill make sure you’re well taken care of, whether you’re a solo diner or part of a bustling crowd. It’s like stepping into a warm hug from your favorite aunt. 🤗 Now, let’s chat about value. You won’t break the bank here, but you’ll leave with a full belly and a smile. It’s the kind of place where memories are made—where you laugh over pancakes, share stories, and feel like a true New...

Discovered yet another gem of a diner in NY, and it's safe to say it's quickly become one of my favorites. The Apple Caramel Crumb Tart and toast were beyond words, simply legit and delicious. It's one of those places that keeps pulling you back in, making you fall in love with it a little more each visit. But the real surprise was the Egg Cream, served up in a delightful vanilla flavor. Contrary to what I initially thought it might taste like (somewhere close to eggnog?), it was wonderfully creamy with a light, velvety, and slightly fizzy texture. The vanilla was hearty and present, making the drink resemble a toned-down milkshake. Absolutely loved it and it's apparently a must-try NY diner classic. The service was attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Although a bit more explanation about the Egg Cream would have been appreciated (it seemed so normal here that our server was a bit stuck on how to describe it), it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. Definitely a spot worth checking out for anyone looking to enjoy some true diner delights...

Was really excited to try this place but the rudeness and lack of care for the customers did it for me. I called before arriving if I needed reservations or if there was a wait time. No reservations was needed and according the host only 2 people was waiting on line to be seated and that I shouldn’t have a problem with the wait time because they move “pretty fast”. Once I arrived it was a small crowd outside waiting, first red flag. Secondly I announced myself to the host and she gave me 20 min wait (outside the restaurant in a very small sidewalk). Terrible experience for my kids. Lastly when I was next to be seated, I entered the restaurant with my kids because it was windy to keep waiting outside, rudely I was escorted out with my kids to wait again after I waited over 25 minutes. To have customers wait outside for a while in this weather it was very unprofessional. Will not try this place in the future.
