I had already bartended for 9 years but found it difficult to find people to learn FROM at every job I had- I was teaching MYSELF how to improve. …In Brooklyn I did the advanced course. Their instructors are memorable mentors with a wealth of knowledge. The accommodations at this location are also top notch! (An apartment for only EBS vs a hostel with miscellaneous travelers)

After finishing this course I was able to improve my resume and go from your average pub-bartender, to beverage director at a top-tier speakeasy. I recently took the four week course in New York and I loved it! Don't take this course if you want to relax, party and drink all the time, but take it if you're really interested in bartending. The course is intense... you will have to study quite a bit and practice a lot... but you will learn a lot and have so much fun! I had a great time at EBS NY ! New York is one of my favorite cities, Elise took us to some really good places (bars, concerts, night clubs, rooftop and a boat party !) We had to work hard (especially for the 3 weeks course), but Matt was a really fun and good teacher which made it easier and I took a lot of pleasure learning how to be a bartender. I also made lots of friends that I hope I'll see again in the future ! I was actually sad when the last day came..
