I gotta not only disagree with Daniel, but he must have done something to provoke that response. I don't even work there and I feel bad for the shop more so than I do for you.
I've been going to this coffee shop since the Summer of '15, and rude and blase I have not been treated. I've spent enough money here to probably be part owner. I've seen a number of baristas, all of whom are pretty great compared to the far more blase, and far ruder sides of Bushwick. Good vibes, thy name is TIP WELL.
Their roasting can sometimes be smelled all the way down on Knickerbocker, and up the street by Bushwick Plaza. They're basically an oasis of black gold in a part of town that's all graffiti, warehouses, and torrid Blue Collars smoking in hairnets. I've noticed a lot of Australians and New Zealanders hanging out, and people in vague bands that practice up the street. If you're allergic to good vibes, then stay away.
Their coffee is good, too good. It'll make you feel like a bastard touching your lips to the blessed. If you're a snob and have your own taste, and have been living on the block longer, and appreciate the older establishments along bushwick or waterbury, then I'm gonna say your taste is off. This coffee is the best coffee on the block. And there's enough room for everyone. The businesses are getting as diverse as the art on the walls.

The atmosphere was interesting, the best way to describe the music was circus polka that slowly eats away at your soul until you eventually shoot your self in the face. This is only a theory, I didn't stay long enough to prove it out. The barista had more sas than I was prepared for. The first thing he said was, "Where did you all come from? Everytime I turn around there are more of you!" It seemed like having customers was a big problem there. I wish that was were it stopped. He then proceeded to heckle each customer in some snide way. There was such a thin line between my afternoon caffeine craving and my sense of humility and this guy played that line like a fiddle....
Read moreParking is very difficult in this neighborhood, but the battle is worth the fight. These guys are committed to the craft of coffee roasting and preparation. Their espresso pulls are on point, and their roasting is excellent. They have a variety of special blends as well as single origins and small lots. The venue is a bit of a warehouse conversion, funky and comfortable with adequate space to chill, enjoy and even get some work done if that's your thing. The staff is knowledgeable...
