Best Eyelash — Local services in New York

I like trying new lash places that offer anime or wispy style to see which are favorites and was drawn to the photos they showcased here. However, during the whole experience my lash technician was applying the lash then removing it AND pulling my natural lashes and this didn't just happen 2-3 times (which I usually am okay with because it happens). It was really incredibly painful having your natural lash twist off randomly. This happened several times to the point where I was actual nervous throughout the entire experience and either wanted to get up to stop the service or just braced myself lol. Also forgot to mention the random sharp tweezer just randomly poking my eyelid. Lastly when I had to pay which I usually pay with zelle, it was never initially disclosed that it came with an additional "service fee" (I have never been asked to pay additional hidden fees if I'm sending a payment like zelle, Venmo or cash app where they won't get taxed and not report it to the IRS). That was very shady and kinda made me feel less forgiving about the experience too. So if you want to dodge the random +$10-$20, bring cash. Even though the service was delivered, it was a very unpleasant experience. Anyways, yeah this is my really honest review and hopefully a one-off experience. Won't be coming back though. EDIT: Upon further investigation, there seems to be a lot of fake reviews for this place. Accounts that have very few reviews and similar generic...

Jenny was friendly and very skillful, and the whole process ended quickly, just as I expected. The place was very neat and clean. I didn't get burning eyes after the eyelash extensions, which means they used high-quality glue—which is crucial for eye safety. I opted for the anime-style lashes. Overall, I liked them, but I expected the base lashes (except the long ones in between for the anime effect) to gradually get longer towards the ends. Instead, they remained the same short length throughout, which I didn't find aesthetically pleasing. However, I appreciated the efficient process and the skillful staff. Where do I Begin first the service is top notch truly impeccable.
