Big Apple Souvenirs & Gifts — Local services in New York

Look no further — I checked out three gift shops in NYC, but this is by far the best gift shop! I don’t often write reviews, particularly good ones, but I would feel it unjust to not write this review for this shop, just because they deserve every next customer.

Amazing selection and great prices aside, this shop is run by awesome people. Particular shout out to Kevin! I noticed how he greeted everyone warmly, was assuring when I accidentally toppled (and thankfully did not break!) some items, and even out of sheer goodwill helped a random stranger (not a customer) who had gotten conned by another shop. He called his friend to see how they could fix the faulty portable bank that she had bought. It’s easy to not help, harder to take time out to help, but harder still to go out of one’s way to help. The last incident really struck me as to how kind hearted and generous of spirit he is.

If you are looking for a souvenirs shop , drop everything and come here! I have lived in NYC for over two years now and some how every time I take my visitors from California to get souvenirs , we end up here! The last time was when my mother was in town and we had stopped by two other shops nearby along the way and the owners of those shops would not stop following us or standing near by watching and asking if we needed help.

I am glad we kept walking and came in here because Kevin is one of the nicest people on the face of this earth, he made my mom feel welcomed and showed her more style items of what she was looking for and really made her feel great which is honestly priceless when I host family from back home because it can be stressful. Cant thank Kevin enough for the love and I look forward to bringing all my guest here in 2020!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a gem in the heart of Manhattan! Big Apple Souvenirs & Gift is hands down one of the best souvenir shops I’ve been to in NYC. The store’s packed with everything you could imagine — from classic I ❤️ NY tees and hoodies, NYPD/FDNY merch, to mini Statues of Liberty, magnets, mugs, and even keychains with every alphabet letter.

The place is super clean, bright, and neatly arranged (which is rare for souvenir shops 😅). You can tell the owner really puts effort into making the experience nice for every visitor. Prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

If you’re visiting New York and want to grab some souvenirs that actually feel special, this is the spot.
