Great burgers are an easy staple in our city, and Shake Shack can still be counted among them. But it’s becoming disappointedly to me in the last few visits at various Shacks around the city, that Danny Meyer has lost interest in keeping the quality standard in his fast food empire. This site, like others branches I’ve been to lately, challenged the hygiene and cleanliness expectation, Bevin broken furniture stacked, no bathroom, bread bags I shelving outside the kitchen by the employees bathroom- I will definitely not return to this branch. The burgers are sloppily assembled, meat overcooked, under sauced and the buns not heated and direct from the plastic bags. The staff has little visual or spoken contact with customers- looks overworked and tired, friendliness rare. I did like the DIY ordering stations. As in others, there seemed to be no manager overseeing the operation.
Very disappointing. If not for one gracious and attentive guy distributing the orders, this branch is a stain in the city eating scene. Best get your house in order, Danny, and check in on the Shack quality delivery. It’s getting awfully close to McDonalds and neither the locals nor the tourists paying the prices we do in this town, need another tired rip-off food place. You’ve had great success and made a lot of money with the Shack since the long Madison Square Park libes, but nobody needs to pay for mediocre just to have it closer it their location. Better fewer locations and...
Read moreA Rainy Visit to Shake Shack: Good Food, but Lacks Comfort and Kid-Friendly Amenities
During a rainy day, we arrived at Shake Shack, drawn in by its "dine-in" label on Google. Unfortunately, despite this designation, there was no indoor seating available. Additionally, the restaurant was touted as "kid-friendly," but surprisingly, there were no accessible restrooms for children.
While the food at Shake Shack was undeniably delicious, the overall experience was dampened by the lack of adequate seating and kid-friendly facilities. The absence of indoor seating forced us to brave the rain, making our dining experience less enjoyable than we had hoped.
It is essential for a restaurant to deliver on the promises it advertises, especially when it comes to family-friendly amenities. The absence of kid-friendly restrooms was particularly inconvenient for families with young children. This oversight left us feeling disappointed and somewhat uncomfortable during our visit.
In conclusion, while Shake Shack certainly serves up tasty fare, the lack of indoor seating and kid-friendly facilities, along with the subpar service, detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable dining experience. It's a great spot for grabbing a quick bite to-go, but for those seeking a comfortable dine-in experience, especially with children, it might be worth considering...
Read moreI walked into this establishment on two occasions. The first Time was for a promotion of the liberty game. When I walked in there were several people standing inside looking like they were at the DMV . There were no lines so I walked up to the counter I showed the cashier my email from the game which my wife has season tickets she asked me for the previous days ticket I didn't have it so I walked out. The second time I walked in this place there were a lot less people standing around but unfortunately this time the cashier had her back turned away from the customers I waited at least 3 min before the same cashier from my first encounter walked up and again I showed the email and she once again asked for a ticket for which when I complained the first time management stated they reserved the right to ask for a ticket and they gave me 10.00 credit .when I redeemed for the cheapest item on the menu I still had to pay 162.00 ! No fries just a hamburger it was ok but I didn't bother going back when they decided to send me another 10.00 credit for my...
