My co-worker and I were in search of a near-by nail salon that took walk-ins and we discovered this location. I went in for a gel pedicure while my co-worker was there for a set of acrylic nails. My own personal experience with the pedicure was excellent, my technician's name was Emma. She was very sweet, attentive, and asked questions before moving on to the next step. They had massage chairs, and she took her time and ensured that I liked the outcome. However after I was finished and was waiting for my co-worker to be finished, I had the time to analyze how they do manicures/acrylics. The process itself seems to be very flawed, multiple girls were complaining about the nails being too chunky, it being rushed, and the technicians not listening to their requests. The acrylic nails were being roughly removed with metro-cards which isn't efficient and caused damage to my co-worker's natural nails. The application of the nails is also rushed so the nails turn out chunky and aren't shaped well, the nails are all shaped differently and not filed down enough. My co-worker was charged a total of $99 for a set she wad very unhappy with, for one simple color(no designs, no charms, just one solid gel color) with tip included over $100. I was charged $58 which is reasonable for my experience. It's evident that the girls need more training, especially when there are reviews about them cutting client's skin and damaging their natural nail beds. I would recommend coming here solely for pedicures. I'm sure that there is room for improvement, they were...
Read moreI never write reviews but my experience here really was so bad. I got a simple mani pedi nothing fancy. The lady who did both was very rude, she kept giving me dirty looks for no reason throughout the entire appointment. I was nothing but nice and kept smiling at her. She made a comment about how my toenails are very short with an attitude even though that is how I like them. During the manicure she kept getting the nail polish on my skin and not removing it properly/ fully. When she got some cotton on a nail she gave me a dirty look again like it was my fault. And when looked at the man after I saw that she didnât even cover my full nails and the filing was messy. After drying for over 15 I was ready to leave because I had other places to go and she yelled at me thatâs not long enough and yet again a dirty look. Super...
Read moreWhen prepping my nails they used unsanitized tools (first used a nail clipper, then cuticle clipper and electrical nail tool to file the top of your nail off ON ME and then put it back down, and the person next to me then had the same tools used their nails with no sanitation between). Then they messed up my nail art on one nail and left it, on my other nail they removed it with nail polish remover then didn't let the remover evaporate before trying to redo the star (nail art), leaving it uncentered. They also filed down my nail unevenly, I wanted an almond shape and I grew out my nails and filed them almost to an almond shape, and then the lady I was with filed my nail so short and uneven it looks like the almond shape was rotated 30°s on my...
