The Emma Clearly Photography team were incredible to work with! We booked them for our July 2023 wedding and had the pleasure of working with Linera and Massimo for our photography. The team came recommended from our venue, Hotel Du Village. Even at the beginning of our planning process, Emma was extremely helpful and knowledgable. She provided a perfect timeline for us to use for the day which made the planning process a breeze. The kept us on track for first look, and ceremony and post ceremony events. Linera was our lead Bridal photographer and she gave amazing direction and advice. While doing our bridesmaids photos, she suggested some of my bridesmaids give me some Marriage advice during the shots, which was so thoughtful and made those photos even more special. Massimo was with the Groom and Groomsmen and really kept up with our rowdy group. He took beautiful serious photos, as well as some silly ones that the guys insisted on. The guys raved about him! He even took time during the night to come show us some beautiful pictures he took of our dog :)

Overall they both were such a pleasure to work with. We felt extremely comfortable with them during all of our photos and we are beyond happy with the end results. Linera offered great posing direction and was so patient with our family and large group. They took amazing candid and reception photos. They really captured what our guests were feeling and experiencing during the evening. We had our 3 year old nephew in the photos as well, and he did not want to be there lol, but some of the photos they took of him are my absolute favorite!

Emma Clearly Photography was our favorite vendor to work with. We have almost 800 beautiful photos from the day. Going through the photos made us feel like we were reliving our special day all over again. Not to mention the fast turn around time! We received all of our edited photos in less than 30 days from our wedding date, we were not expecting them that fast! Where do I start? Emma Cleary Photography was one of the first companies we came across when searching for wedding photographers. We fell in love with the team’s work immediately! We had an initial consult, but hesitated to move forward, as this was above our initial budget for photography. After a few weeks of searching and looking at the work of other photographers, we kept coming back to Emma’s incredible work and the work of her team. We knew we had to increase our budget with photography, because Emma’s team would be worth it. It’s hands-down the BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE.

We called Emma back and let her know, we were increasing our budget just so we could have her team at our wedding!! We worked with Massimo as our Lead and Anna as the 2nd shooter. We had an early start (7am) and everyone was there on time and professional. And they brought energy with them! We shared with Emma, Massimo and Anna how important it was for traditional shots to be taken, but also, for other, unplanned, special moments with our family and friends be captured as well. They really went out of their way to capture our day in ways we never could have imagined. The team really captured the essence of every moment- nervousness, excitement, happiness, tears, joy and love.

We knew Emma Cleary’s team would be able to nail the vibe of the day, our individual styles and produce exquisite photos. And wow, the team OVERDELIVERED in every way. Emma is an INCREDIBLE photographer, simply put.

Emma photographed our engagement shoot in the West Village/Little Italy last fall, as well as our wedding down in the Financial District this summer. When we had stumbled upon Emma's work way back when, we were in awe and knew we wanted her as our photographer, as her work was above & beyond any other work we'd seen during our search while still at a realistic price... which is hard to come by, especially in NYC.

Emma was a pleasure to work with (the epitome of a calm, cool, collected individual), and when we got down to the wire the week of the wedding, Emma dealt with my multiple emails and requests seamlessly. On our wedding day, it wound up raining RIGHT as we were preparing to step outside for our photos in Hanover Square, but I'm happy we wound up photographing inside. Emma and Dimitri were able to capture the essence of the entire venue because of this.

One of the best parts about Emma and her team is how non-intrusive they are during the actual event. When we were looking at the finished photos with our friends, we couldn't believe how "in-the-moment" these shots were, because no one really realized that Emma and Dimitri were all over the dance floor taking photos of everyone. I've attended so many weddings where I've recognized, or felt, the photographer's presence, and when that happens, you don't act natural. Luckily, everyone is completely natural in our photos because Emma and Dimitri know EXACTLY what they're doing. They captured some really, really awesome stuff :)

In the end, Emma's photographs came out incredible; it's been two months since the wedding, and I still look at our photo gallery at least once or twice a week. She was truly a pleasure to work with, and I can't say enough about how hard her and her team work to make these moments in...
