During the summer vacation, I started applying to this language school, but I never expected it to be such a complete scam—utterly terrible in every way. The service, efficiency, and curriculum were all a disaster. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this school and be extremely cautious!

When applying, never pay any fees upfront, or you’ll get hit with an endless list of additional charges: processing fees, review fees, verification fees, document fees, consultation fees, mailing fees, expedited fees, form fees, application fees, tuition fees, and so on. If you refuse to pay, they’ll just give you the runaround and won’t refund the money you already paid. If you want to continue the application, you’ll have to pay even more unexpected fees. Their attitude is unbelievably arrogant, their response time is ridiculously slow, and they talk down to you as if they have no intention of helping—just squeezing more money out of you.

After paying for form processing and review fees, they actually do nothing. One of the fees was supposedly for reviewing and assisting with forms, yet after paying, you still have to fill everything out yourself, write everything yourself, and even print it all yourself. One time, I forgot to include a single sheet of paper in my submission, and they made me go outside to print it myself. The level of stinginess is unbelievable.

Most of the required PDF documents have to be filled out entirely on your own, and they won’t even guide you on how to do it. When you submit them, they know where the mistakes are but won’t correct them. Instead of simply notifying you and making minor corrections, they force you to redo everything from scratch. It’s completely unclear what the so-called processing and review fees are even for. And this whole ordeal costs at least $100 or more—a total scam.

By the time the entire application process is done, you’ll have spent thousands of extra dollars, and their course offerings are barely even worth considering. It’s obvious they’re just out to rip people off. Other language schools in Manhattan at least provide services in exchange for their fees—this one just takes your money and does nothing.

All of the teachers are native English speakers with professional backgrounds. They're not only knowledgeable but also incredibly approachable and kind. I especially appreciate Eric, who taught us how to understand vocabulary through Latin roots. His lessons were engaging and practical, and I know this knowledge will be a big help in my future college studies.

When I faced issues with my immigration status, the principal personally guided me through every step of the reinstatement process. Her patience, attention to detail, and genuine care made a huge difference during a stressful time.
