After being a patient of this primary care doctor for several years with no major health problems, I knew that this office was always very busy and crowded.
However, I have never had a doctor’s front desk receptionist tell me when I came in with extreme pain on a Sunday morning after being awake all night “you saw the doctor the day before and can’t see him again.” She refused to look at me and shoved a piece of paper at me with an address for a for-profit urgent care center and verbatim told me “go away and get out of this office.” My wife who had taken me in to see my doctor was livid. I then paid $50 and went that morning to another doctor who immediately sent me to the hospital emergency room an hour later for surgery.
The diagnosis of my medical problem was not difficult, a common one that requires surgery, but Dr. Yang’s office did not diagnose my problem at all and had no ultrasound on site, only gave me a referral to a specialist who could do ultrasound weeks later.
