My experience was so much more than I expected. Everyone from setting appt to arrival was AMAZING in care and compassion. Dr Clark completely gave her time. I didn’t feel rushed like some other places, she showed understanding of my concerns & symptoms, explaining to me My options without any pushing of biases. I felt completely safe & vulnerable to Share my concerns & questions. She even took the time to introduce me to other ppl that would Be apart of my treatment team. She didn’t have to do that. It’s the extra care, and the extra touch of care. After 1/2 a year of not knowing what was wrong with me & being tossed around from doctor to doctor referral to referral- I felt peace with FINALLY getting some answers and knowing I’m not crazy. Also to see other Performers have gone here made me feel Like they understand me and my Lifestyle as an Actor. Seeing a wall of other individuals in my industry made all the difference and I knew I was in the right place before even meeting Dr Clark which only solidified my experience. Was referred to Dr. Clarke because of voice issues. She was thorough, reviewed a ream of data I brought in as reference, brought in another specialist to view and offer input during testing. Spent a great deal of unrushed time with me - redid a scope to try and get a better look on things. In the end, after sending multiple things down my nose and throat, she was still not satisfied and 'invited' me back for another, more precise view of a vocal cord at no additional expense - well, that's RARE!! But that's not critical to my assessment. She is thoughtful, methodical, and carefully explains procedures and findings. Felt like I was in really good hands. All that and she's a super nice person. Honestly I have always struggled with feeling like my needs and concerns werent addressed during doctors visits but Christine was truly exceptional. She made sure to address every concern I had with empathy and was very thorough . She made sure I understood what she was doing to help me and walked me through what needed to be done and what treatment might be. When I was concerned or uncomfortable she was patient and kind with me and made sure I was ok.
