BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO VISIT, I STRONGLY SUGGEST READING THIS REVIEW. I used to be a regular client, but I won't be returning, and I want to explain why. Also there is a sadly unprofessional update with the owners response that may persuade you not to bother. For this place take the negative reviews seriously or go at your own risk.
On their website, they advertise lash extensions, but there's a section called "Master Lash Artists" where they highlight three technicians, stating you have to pay extra to book them. When it comes to beauty services like lash extensions, I prioritize quality above all else. It's concerning that you have to pay more for supposedly superior service, especially since this is a new policy. To me, paying extra to get a top-rated master technician doesn't make sense, especially when there are technicians who work there but aren't considered masters, yet the prices on the website don't change. You pay the same amount for each type of lash extensions you get, regardless of whether it's a master or another technician.
I decided that I wanted to book with Christine, who was listed as the top option with the highest additional fee. However, when I called Christine's studio, I discovered she only does eyebrows, not lashes. This inconsistency between the website and reality is off-putting.
I'm hesitant to try another lash technician because a friend had a terrible experience with someone outside of our usual technician but works at Christine Lash Studio. The glue got into her eye, the lashes looked bad, and some even fell off. It was a mess, but we continued with our regular technician until she left. Now that our regular technician left and this updated policy, I just feel that it's time to part ways with Christine Lash Studio.
If you're willing to take a risk, they often have Groupon deals you can use, but for me, lash extensions are too expensive to gamble with. The way they promote certain technicians as "master" and exclude others gives me the impression that they might not be as skilled as advertised. It's disappointing because they could be good technicians, but I'm not willing to risk my lashes to find out.
UPDATE: *** My concerns were raised over a month ago on Yelp and Google Review. I had a conversation with Christine, the owner of Christine Lash Studio, because she responded to my Yelp review (see screenshot below). Please note how professional she was in her response. Now take a look at her google response (I added a screenshot below just incase she deletes it). After she reached out to me on yelp she tried to call me and reach out to have a conversation. I said I rather talk via text (please see text message thread below)
As a customer, I expected a more empathetic and professional approach. Their failure to acknowledge our previous conversation, where we seemed to resolve the issue, reveals a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU GO DECIDE TO GO HERE. Their recent response on Google to me, a month after my initial review, suggests they prioritize managing their online reputation over addressing genuine customer feedback.
If you want to see pictures and the text conversation illustrating my experience, they will be attached below.
In conclusion, I recommend choosing a studio that values understanding and improving customer feedback, rather than appearing defensive or dismissive like Christine Lash Studio has been. Also you dont want to waste your money on possibly choosing a technician that doesnt do your lashes right and gets glue in your eye like my friend endured coming there off of my previous...
Read moreI knew I shouldn't have come here a second time after my experience here the first time. The first time i came here and got eyelash extensions, not only did the extensions get crunchy and start going different directions, but it hurt so much to blink and a lot of my natural lashes fell out along with the extensions within less then a week. The last time I was here, which was about last week, I had my groupon rejected and had to pay full price which i wasn't so bothered with. After i left this eyelash studio, 4 lash extensions fell out. It hasn't even been two weeks and again the eyelash extensions are crunchy, the ends and drooping downwards as well as the rest of my lashes that are going in different directions. Its not like I dont know how to care for my eyelash extensions because i've had much better extensions done at other places where they've lasted for 3+ weeks and still look freshly done without any touch ups. I definitely wont be coming back and money shouldn't be wasted here at Christine Lash Studio. At least the service is good here, but i cannot say the same for the quality of application and texture of their eyelash extensions. Ill just go to Mikha Lash next time.
Update 08/10/2019: The owner of Christine lash had responded to my review and recommended that I get mink lash (which i did get and always ask for) and get thinner lashes (which I always get). Maybe my lashes couldn't "support" their extensions because your eyelash technicians apply 3-4 extensions on one single natural lash when i always specifically ask for single lash extensions. My natural lashes are already very long and full and I usually always get 100 + lashes and always wait 2-3 months before getting extensions again without any touch ups so my lashes can support 100+. The thickness of extensions also doesn't explain the constant redness and burning i get from the eyelash glue. Ive posted some pictures in which there are 4 lash extensions hanging on to a single one of my natural eyelash. Not only do Christine Lash Studio's mink lash extensions burn my eyes but they also RUIN my natural lashes as well pull off all my natural lashes that are attached to the glue and extensions. I cant even brush my extensions without 2-5 lashes falling off. Half of the extensions came off with brushing that i did twice a day which was instructed by the manager, and they also pulled out and damaged many of my...

Bottom line: one week in, over 50% of the extensions had completely fallen off (not my lashes; the extensions). 9 days in, I look like SpongeBob: ~3 lashes per eye 🙄
Context: I had done my lashes at a great spa for over a year before losing my job; I decided to check out some other spots via Groupon. A friend had a decent experience here, so I gave it a go. (With this place, my lash extensions would look very full until at least 3 or 4 weeks in.)
Before I even went in, I overheard a former client loudly telling off the Christine folks about an eye infection she had as a result from their negligence… definitely not the kind of conversation that should be had with doors open right off the waiting area 🙄
When I did get going, my lash gal was somehow pinching/pulling my eyelid — I’ve NEVER been uncomfortable during this experience elsewhere, so I’m not sure what she was doing. That, combined with the extreme stinging sensation when I was done (errant glue? Not sure…) nearly traumatized me from this place 🫣
Anyhow, I’m really annoyed I even spent money at this hole in the wall that clearly has no sense of...
