I usually don't leave negative reviews because I understand everyone is just doing their job, but I'm genuinely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received here.
This place left me with serious buyer's remorse--I regretted my decision to come here and even more so after paying so much.
During my pedicure, the nail tech scrubbed my foot so aggressively with the exfoliating tool that she cut the underside of my toe. She seemed to realize it too, because she noticeably used less pressure on the other foot. I didn't notice the cut right away, but felt a sting afterward and saw the injury. When I pointed it out, she apologized--but said nothing in the moment and had me put my foot back into the water, which is a major hygiene concern and increases the risk of infection.
I asked when I arrived if they accepted cards and was told yes, but the additional card fee wasn't mentioned until checkout. That kind of information should be disclosed upfront--especially given that their prices are already on the higher end.
I also got nail extensions, which were really mediocre. The length was inconsistent (as shown in my pictures), the application was thick, and the finished result looked like I already had them on for a week--she didn't apply the product close to the cuticle line, which left an obvious gap.
The total came out to about $180 for a gel pedicure and acrylic manicure, and unfortunately, the quality just didn't match the price. They're charging premium rates for subpar work. (Keep in mind I wouldn't mind the price if it actually looked good and they did not give me a cut on my foot)
Definitely won't be returning, and I WOULD NOT recommend this...
Read moreAfter a weekend of cleaning, my 2 week old gel manicure was not looking good. I tried to make a same day appointment at my usual nail place, but they were understandably fully booked. I decided to give Cinderella Nail Spa a try because my friend goes there and she always has a good experience.
I came as a walk in. They were nice, and seated me immediately. I was thankful. Then she began working, and I could instantly tell this was going to be a sub par experience. While my nail tech was nice, she went so fast and was not thorough at all. She didn't even shape my nails. Just a pathetic file. I cut my nails the night before and while they were short, she could have evened everything out but she didn't. I could have said something, but I didn't.
The whole thing took only 40 minutes, which is crazy because my usual spot always takes up to 2 hours for a gel manicure as they are super meticulous.
The gel is thin, and whatever top coat was used barley adds any shine. It looks like I have a regular manicure with polish I can get from the drug store.
At the end, because I got 5 different colors (different shade of green for each nail) the nail tech said "5 colors is $10 more." Okay?? Why not tell me that before we began?? And literally what even is the logic there?? Anyway, I didn't fight it. I took the loss and still tipped her generously.
I know to never go there again, no matter how desperate I am. They full on swindled...
Read moreI got an all gel manicure, no tips or extensions. Costed me $80 with design. The nails turned out really cute, however I do think it was overpriced. On top of that, I gave a $10 tip and the guy there gave me back the receipt and said “15% minimum”. For the service I received and the prices, I think my tip was fine. Tipping is not required either so what he did was extremely rude and embarrassing. I changed the tip amount but I will not be coming back here. You don’t tell someone to change the amount of their tip especially since I gave enough for the service that I received. No where does it say tipping...
