Citi — Local services in New York

Citibank is the worse stay away from them we opened an account and set up our direct deposits of our pay to after just a few days they would freeze our bank cards for doing simple things like ordering a lyft or an uber and when you contact fraud they make you wait 24 hours to unlock the cards and then after you get upset cus you are stranded 40 miles away from home and no way to get home cus you cant get to your money they decide to not only block your access to your account they put in closing status and i had thousands of dollars in that account now here is the kicked they said i wont get my money that is int account for about 60 days and cant access my account before them once the account is fully closed i live over 9 hours way from the nearest branch and they tell me to go to a bank to get my money i would love to be able to but i cant access any...

Opened an account and the spanish lady that helped me was uncomfortably nice and pretentious. At one point I saw her nudge to her colleague showing her my application in a elated manner. This lady even missed her lunch trying to sign me up. I didn't think much of it until I had to go back to her in order to discuss an issue with my account. At that point she was a totally different person. You could tell that she just wanted to get rid of me. She kept saying 'Oh know you have to call customer service, there is nothing I can do". I called customer service and they let me know that this should have been handled by the rep that brushed me off. Terrible bank and careless customer “care”. Bank decided to close my double cash card with no real reason “one one more returned payments during last 6 months” wow after 6 years of perfect history you guys decided to just close my account with this ridiculous reason?! Seriously. I had equivalent of $650 in “Thank you points” that was erased with closure of the account. This was Citibank’s way to thank me.
