This place is an absolute gem, and gave me the best, most unique hair color of my life!

I cannot recommend Contura enough. I went there today to get my highlights redone after over a year of letting them grow out. I made an appointment with Ana, and asked her for a cool-tone blond that didn't look to yellow. I showed her a picture and she saw my vision immediately. From there, her and her assistant Taylor worked tirelessly to make my hair the perfect color (and it was definitely hard work -- my hair got incredibly long during quarantine, so there was a lot of hair to color).

In addition to the partial highlights, I also got the Olaplex treatment that Ana recommended to help strengthen my hair after all of the coloring. My hair feels so incredibly soft and silky, so I'm glad I did.

I haven't felt this good in so long, and I can't wait to go out and show off my new color! I'm definitely going to be heading back to get a nice haircut as well. I booked a last minute appointment with Dragan one evening in February. As soon as I sat down, he points out that I have very long hair and asks why I booked a short haircut. I explained that I was cutting it short so I booked the appointment as such. (How was I supposed to know? Plus, I booked it on the phone, someone could have asked better questions.) He explains that it takes longer to cut from long hair but agrees to cut my hair anyway. A few minutes later, he puts me in the shampoo chair, ties my wet locks into a ponytail and cuts the entire thing off to save himself time. Great! However, he cut it way too short. I WALKED OUT OF THERE LOOKING LIKE A DISGRUNTLED CHILD TOOK SCISSORS TO THE BACK OF MY HEAD. I’ve spent the last 6 months growing out the back of my hair. I FINALLY HAVE THE CUT AND LENGTH THAT I WANTED. Horrible.

THE WORST PART is that I left thinking it looked great because no one had the courage to tell me what the back of my head looked like. And I gave this man an extremely hefty tip. Uncool and I will NEVER...

I've been getting haircuts from Ana for over a year, so I'm thrilled that she's opened up her own studio along with Dan.

First, Ana - I found her via Instagram when I was looking to go short after a few years of very long hair. She truly loves cutting bobs and pixies and understands how to work with your natural texture and growth pattern to get the best result. She's personable and listens to what you want while keeping it realistic based on what you're working with. Every single cut she's done on me makes me feel fresh and chic. I don't color my hair (yet), but her work I've seen in person and on Instagram is always gorgeous.

Second, the salon! The new space is gorgeous. Light and airy, warm and friendly. You won't feel like you're in a snooty, stuck-up salon, but you'll still feel pampered by the experience. Water, coffee, and wine are always on offer. Everything is clean and brand new. Aveda products are offered for sale.
