Stay away from this deli at all cost. I been seeing reviews of this spot being unsanitary but totally dismissed it because I figured it was a neighborhood establishment. The first time I ordered from here I got 2 plates. they messed up one of the orders so bad they left out the chicken in the quesadillas and just gave me empty taco shells. They ended up just giving me credit to get another meal the next time I go back. But what’s funny is that the next day over my stomach was feeling pretty bad but yk, shit happens. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to redeem the credit. Since 8pm last night, to now 2 in the afternoon today- I’ve been dealing with the most vicious food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. 102 degree fever all night with crazy intense bloating and gas from the bacteria in the food. And I can genuinely say that it came from this deli because I only have 2 meals total that day, and the only one I didn’t share with my girlfriend is the set James order, and she doing fine. Every time I have food from this place within 3 hours I’m feeling sick, just this most recent one is the worst case. It could literally be anything like someone in the back handling putting together the quesadillas with cross contaminated hands from raw meat or just not washing it. Or it could be a gone off batches of their sauces, but regardless this place really messed me up. If y’all care about what you eat and put in your bodies do not make the same mistake as I did and...

I was so upset to receive my sandwich improperly made. It was horrible and I threw it away. My daughter asked for ham, turkey and cheese hero and received it on a dry disgusting flimsy roll full of turkey, hardly any ham and some cheese. I was so upset!!! If a person says a hero sandwich that's what they expect. I don't live in NY anymore so when I visit I look forward to a hero sandwich from NY. To get this roll was the saddest thing ever!! We won't be back to this store!! Last time we visited they messed up my breakfast and scrambled my eggs when I expected them over easy. Just like they made like when I was a kid growing up there. I just hate getting my food there now. They don't listen to how the customer ask for the food to be made!! $10 for that nasty sandwich is just terrible!!! Shame on the cashier for arguing with me about it too when I called. We don't recommend this deli for good...

I live close by and have gotten take out a few times. Like others, I really dig their “quesadillas” (really hard shell tacos with cheese on the bottom). I also like their various breakfast platters (see picture). The arbol salsa is also spectacular…

However…some things here are not spectacular. As others have noted, their regular tacos are lackluster in no small part due to the piles of shredded iceburg lettuce they throw on top. Also some of the meats are kind of gross. Both the Al Pastor and chicken tacos were much wetter/sloppier than expected, tasted low quality, were in huge chunks, and had no evidence of being warmed up on a grill or flattop. I’ve had much better luck with just beans, chorizo and potato, and chicken tinga—-so I would recommend sticking to fillings where grilled meat is not the star (no chicken, no pastor, no...

I recently placed an order over the phone and specifically requested no queso en polvo on top of my quesadillas. Unfortunately, when I arrived home I noticed they got it wrong and added it anyway. After contacting them to address the mistake, they asked me to come in for a replacement order. However, upon receiving the new order, I was disappointed to find that it was the same quesadillas (now cold), only with more lettuce on top to cover the cheese they had added. When I called again to express my dissatisfaction, the person on the phone seemed indifferent and unhelpful. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with both the mistake in my order and the lack of care from the staff when addressing the issue.

Get the pollo amilanesa *** breaded chicken **** quesadillas OMG . So freaking goooooooood🥲 I been coming here way before the pandemic and once she pandemic hit and we had a crazy rainstorm they fake closed for a long time . I’m just so happy they’re back & I couldn’t be happier 🤩🤩 it’s really something with the green sauce that tastes sooooo goooood !!!!! I usually get 4 or 5 quesadillas I eat 2 right away and drive back to the Bronx I get home and I eat the rest😅 plus they’re horchata which is a milky drink made from rice BOMB.COM 10/10 open 24hrs I be pulling up 3am 4am for some quesadillas. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
