Okay so basically, I was in talks with custom staffing about possibly getting an interview with the company for a maintenance position at memorial sloan kettering. The woman (Nadine) from CS had me download and sign up for an app on my phone (pymetrics) and told me to take the "personality tests" then she would get back to me. These "personality tests" were no personality test at all. They would pretty much ask you to click the screen as many times as you can before time runs out or ask you which face had the smallest smile. Last time I checked, im a grown man in search of a better job to continue to provide for my family, why they would think these games are good character reflections confuses me. So, after playing these 12 games and was told my personality by this game I recieved a call from Nadine and she informed me that the game said i was not recommended to be hired for the company. Let me just tell you that I have been doing maintenance work for almost 7 years, have made a good impression everywhere i've worked & have always passed these so called "personality tests" in the past. If i could give this company any advice it would be to bring people in that fit the job description, talk to them face to face so that way you can accurately determine their personality and character traits. That way you will hire people that will adequately do their job & you wont have such a high turn over rate. (Even though i know you do it to save the...
Read moreQuite honestly everybody's experience is going to be different. It depends on how you present yourself and being responsible with the job they give you. If you are here with a banking degree, engineering etc. I think you matter look yourself. Custom staffing is more in the business of offering temp or temp to permanent clerical work. You have to understand that Custom Staffing is putting their name and reputation out there so they expect you to represent, you are expected to work hard because guess what? based on your performance and your work's manager review depend if you are or not getting another job. I have been here for almost 4 months and is amazing Ellen have been great with me pairing me up with a phenomenal team I told her give me a shot is all I need and I am doing the best job I can, Christina has been terrific. Everybody have been magnificent. The phone support, email they really care about me they really want me to succeed at my job, I think I receive one to three communication per week to check my level of happiness with the job, how I'm feeling etc. They didn't just throw me to work and forgot me. But again, the experience is different with everybody because not everybody is the same. Be a five star person, they are five star with you, they get five stars in this review. THANK YOU CUSTOM...
Read moreI don’t know where to begin. This is hands down the best agency I’ve worked for and I’ve been with a few over my years as a nurse. Mallory is my recruiting specialist and she is the best of the best - I don’t think I’ll have to find another agency again. Her communication and follow-though is astounding. Have a question? She has the answer and quickly. She’s helped at every step to make sure I’m fully prepared and the assignment transition is seamless. She checks up on her nurses and goes to bat any time it is necessary. For example I made an error while entering my direct deposit info (forgetting to check the box for DD) so my check would have been mailed to me. In less than 30 min she was able to resolve my mistake, have the paper check canceled and funds deposited into my account the same day. I can’t think of another employer who would work so hard to fix a mistake an employee made. Her flexibility, kindness, knowledge and dedication to her profession is unmatched. If Mallory is your recruiter, I know you’ll be...
