DIGISO — Local services in New York

Personally for me I don’t really like coming here like that only when I want something specific. I don’t feel safe here without getting watched over like a hawk they kind of follow you. Today I approached one of the workers telling them if they’re not comfortable with me looking around to shop then let me know or (cutting to the chase instead of beating around bush) tell me don’t come here ever again cuz you shop lift. The guy with a strawberry blonde dyed top hair looked confused, but the thing is this isn’t the first time these people do this act where they watch and spy on you. Just stop being blurred gray instead be black or white about it. I’ve confronted one of the works I think the first time I went there. They kinda do that when I bring someone with me. I never gave your store a reason to follow me never once have put something in my pocket from your store and that assumption of me being petty saids something about you and your pathetic. Okay? Everyone thinks Queens is worse no there and here are the same. Here you can be Asian but they’ll still see you like a criminal. I’m going to tell what I think of every store - I can dress however I want and carry a bag because I bought something from another store if I want to who are you to be a fashion police? Other than that Digiso in general has nice stuff and useful Sanrio things. My review probably won’t do nothing maybe but I wanted a space where I can feel free to express without anyone putting their thoughts and let you all know how this store is. If I could give this place a million stars I would. The service here is INCREDIBLE. Noe and Jinny really go above and beyond to bring their customers joy. We see Noe nearly every time we go (which is probably once a week at this point, we just love going for a hit of serotonin) and he is always so tremendously kind and helpful. The rewards program is so cool and just one of the many ways they prioritize making their customers feel valued. The curation is fantastic, I have found items here I would not be able to find anywhere else. Whenever we have friends visiting NY, we are sure to bring them here for goodies but they are always refreshing with new items for us locals as well. There really is something for everyone too because the skincare and personal care items are amazing at really affordable prices. This place is truly a gem. Also, pro tip - make sure you follow them on instagram because they do not gatekeep the rarer drops and equip their customers with the notice and info they need to be able to snag the things that they love. 3 stars for the good selection of K Beauty products and for keeping the store clean.

The staff needs training in customer service. I was browsing and not a single staff member acknowledged me (both as a customer and in general, just a human being standing there). They routinely walked by me, knocking into me and brushing up against me, as if I am just in the way. No one said "excuse me" or "sorry" but kept repeatedly knocking into me.

I was also actively browsing a shelf where a staff member was working to organize and stock the shelves, and the staff member didn't make an effort to ask if I needed help or try to slightly move out of the way so I can look. It actually impacted my ability to fully browse and so I gave up and walked to a different section.

The staff were also having personal conversations out in the open and complaining in front of customers. I truly felt like I was intruding on something just by trying to shop in this store.
